I use to buy the Children’s Place jeans for my son all the time but not so much anymore. I think that the quality of the jeans has gone downhill. My son can only wear the jeans a couple of times before there is a big hole in them.

ABSOLUTELY AGREE! My son literally wore these twice before the knee area was demolished. Believe it or not, Sears has some of the best quality jeans for kids.

        *the Sears and Roebuck kind

Absolutely agree!!! My mom and i use to shop tcp ALL the time we stopped shopping here about a year ago! i think overall the quality of the clothes is bad it is not what it use to be 😕

I agree! I use to love TCP jeans, now not so much. They always get a hole on the knee.

Yes! This year I was so disappointed. These used to be our go to and would hold up all school year. I bought some this fall and within 3 or 4 wears the back pocket corners had holes already. I reached out to customer service, and they sent me a useless generic form letter with no resolution.

AGREE. My daughter is not tough on her clothes and these don’t hold up at all. We like the cat & jack jeans. They are nice.

Really? I have 4 boys and all they wear is TCP jeans. They wear them non-stop and I can still sell them once they’re outgrown. My oldest is 12 and constantly crawling on the floor goofing off, too.

I don’t like their leggings either, they run small

    • Just passing through

Love their leggings tho maybe they do run small. I just figured my daughter has long legs. I’ve gotten a few pairs recently that I was not impressed with and a pair that faded in 1 wash ( cold water). I usually buy when they’re on clearance so $2-$3 but still upset about the faded one lol

I couldn’t agree more about the jeans. Holes in the knees in 3 wears but the ones passed down from my older son are still good. The leggings too seem to get holes easily too. I usually love TCP.

Thanks for sharing your opinions. I have also stopped buying the jeans for my kids due to holes in the knees. Glad it isn’t only my family that noticed excessive wear and a decrease in quality.

Came to say the same thing! I noticed when I bought them that I though they seemed a little thin. 5 wears and we already have a hole in the knee. And yes….the older ones we have from garage sales are holding up fine. You can tell they’re thicker. Think I might switch to Cat and Jack.

We have been satisfied with TCP jeans. Of course they are not the highest quality but my son’s “play” jeans that have holes in the knees are all from Crazy 8. Gap and Levi jeans are our favorites but we get TCP for school. I never pay more than this $7.99 price. Just sharing our experience!

TCP shirts are a great deal and I like their PJs too, even though the sizes are sometimes off. The jeans, however, are completely useless. Very thin and holes within 2-3 wears. We buy Cat and Jack from Target now because of their 1 year warranty.
