Why doesn’t Costco and Sam’s Club offer incentives stores for their current customers? I would be more incline to renew.
The reason that you don’t see them is that Costco’s renewal rate exceeds 90%. They don’t need to spend money to get people to renew, from their perspective.
By the way, why is it that members have to verify their memberships online? I had to answer questions that you normally see when someone pulls your credit report. Old addresses, names, and so on. Does anyone else find that strange?
That doesn’t sound right. Maybe you should recheck what you typed into the address because I recently read an article about other countries putting up fake sites that are almost identical to the real site hoping people misspell the link and then they’re able to get your information when you willing give it to them thinking it’s the actual site your looking for.

If you go to the my account tab, then click on account details, scroll down to membership information, it will ask you to verify your account or States your account has been verified with a green ✅. I will go by Costco tomorrow and have them look into the matter further.
Does anyone know if I am a secondary member, if I could sign up as the primary and it would be considered a new membership?

My husband and I alternate as primary members. The customer service rep at their counter said that as long as you aren’t the primary holder you are considered a new member.
Do they ever have clearance in stores? Sams always had the best clearance and I loved it! .
My Costco has clearance in store.
My membership expired last month. So if I join I’d be a new member, wouldn’t I?
I believe you have to not be a member for 6 months to be considered new.
I think the standard for these promos used to be 6 months, but this one is 18, I hope they won’t all be like this…
The post says you must be expired more than 18 months.
I love Costco. The $60 membership is definitely worth it!

Might be a good time to try Costco even though they are a bit farther away for me. I currently have a Sams membership expiring soon. Noticed the 3 month extension didn’t apply to my account after I received an email that it was for people with closing stores.

Costco marks down items as clearance throughout the year. I recently bought a $500 buffet/sideboard cabinet for $130 and a smaller sideboard cabinet regularly $300 for $99. Beautiful, quality pieces.
Lucky You! My local Costco doesn’t have any clearance on a regular basis. Or maybe I’m always late coming in, or don’t know where to look. My friend took me to Sam’s and they have all the clearance at the back of the store.

A membership “special offer” last year included all of the above, PLUS free products — paper towels, pizza, bottled water… . I’m disappointed that this offer does not include the same — or similar — free products.

We received free items in their blue tote cart holder, paper towels, t-paper, wet wipes, micro popcorn, water, a drink of some sort, laundry pacs, dishwasher pacs, trail mix packs, some other things I can’t remember. That was a nice thing to get.

How many name can you add to a membership? I only see the primary card holder on the form.
All Costco memberships can have 1 additional household card.
I was in the process of purchasing a new membership with the promo $20.00 cash card plus $25.00 off $250.00 at costco.com purchase to qualify. However you must go to your local Costco membership counter to verify with your ID. What I’d like to know is if you’re making this trip do you have the option to make the $250.00 with $25.00 off at the warehouse also and not just costco.com, can this promo be redeemed at warehouses?
did anybody try signing up for this and receive their card. It is a website other than Costco’s so I am a little hesitant.
