Saving star also has a new rebate.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Thanks for sharing Kenci! It looks like that offer cannot be combined with any other coupons. Darn!

      • Denise G.

At CVS, the purchases are automatically sent to SavingStar through your ExtraCare card and I always get the cash back even if I used a Manufacturer Coupon too.

    • cath

Thanks! Good to know that the deal will work even without printing anything at home. We use Savingstar rebates to help pay for baseball team fees.

  2. Mel

Perfect Timing! My son was just telling me he was down to his last stick of deo. Thanks!!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Happy he will be stock up again with this deal Mel! YW!

  3. Julie

At my store they were ringing up buy one get one half off as well as getting the $4 in extra care bucks.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh cool! Thanks for sharing Julie!

    Which is the better coupon????

    • me

      The 4.99 coupon is better.

  5. Amanda

I have a question not related to this post. I had a coupon on my cvs card for $4 off $18 shampoo and I bought head & shoulders shampoo last night and my total was $18.49 for 3 bottles but my coupon didn’t come off at checkout but I didn’t realize it til after i paid because the cashier looked very sick coughing and stuffy nose so I was just worried about getting out of there as soon as possible so I just paid and got out of the store as soon as possible. Is there anything I can do about this missed coupon?

    • Elizabeth

You need to wait exactly 48 hrs from date of purchase and then call the 1-800 #. Customer care can search your account and see your receipt and apply any missed coupons as ECB for your next purchase.

      • Emily

Thanks for the information! Same thing happened to me today, so I will have to call

      • Amanda

Thank you Elizabeth I will try!

    • LF

I’ve stopped loading the cvs coupons to my card unless they’re app exclusive. If you don’t load them to your card they’ll print at the coupon machine and you can hand them to the cashier. I was having coupons not applying and when I would ask if coupons were coming off they seemed irritated. Again, only the cvs coupons print not the manufacture coupons you can load. I have problems with those working too.

      • Amanda

I usually do the same, but I was planning on doing a transaction with a LOT of coupons so I figured I’d send some to my card so it wouldn’t seem like so many paper coupons lol but it backfired 😞

    • Hong

Hi. Did you see it say : ” $4 off $18 hairs …….. not used ” on the receipt on top of the bar code use to scan for the return.?
If yes you can come back to the store and show it to the cashiers or managers. They will issue you a $4.00 EB. It did happen to me sometime like $2 off $6 body wash, $1 off $5 deodorant…and they done that way without calling CS. Good luck.

  6. AJ

I got a 30% off deodorant crt from the red machine.

Too bad I couldn’t use it with the coupon 🙁

  7. Kellie

I can never get red plum coupons to print 🙁

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Darn! They can be tricky to grab. Maybe try a different browser as sometime that can help.

  8. gailio

Thanks, got this great deal! Btw, today I wrote in my gratitude journal how grateful I am for H2S!

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Aww, so sweet! You’re very welcome! 🙂

  9. Chloe

If I activate an offer on SavingStar AFTER I make my purchase at CVS can I still be credited? I didn’t realize I didn’t add the deodorant cashback offer until I got home.

    • Susan W

I have done this successfully and you have nothing to lose. I would imagine it will work until midnight but I assume you’ve already done it.

      • Chloe

Thanks! Always good to have another data point!

        • Tarri

I have done it before and have had no problem.

    • Cafe

You can load the offer to Saving star acc within that day if you’ve missed to do it before making a purchase. It works. I do it sometimes.

      • Cleob

This worked for me as well. I loaded the offer to Saving Star a few hours after I made the purchase with the 4.99 manufacturer coupon. Today I got email that I am getting 4.99 back from Saving Star. I have never loaded a Saving Star offer after a purchase as I always thought it had to be done before. Worth trying again in the future. Thank you for sharing your helpful tip. And they still honored the offer even with using the manufacturer coupon. Win, win!

Thank you so much for sharing your code, Mariel! I was able to use it and greatly appreciate your kindness! You rock! 👍😄

  14. Eileen

can you use extracare bucks on photo orders?

    • mel

      Yes, you can!

  15. Cherie

My cvs had a bunch of deodorant on 75% clearance and it included some of the right guard xtreme, so I used my coupons on those instead, they were only $1.24 each and they had some double packs for $1.24 as well! Now they didn’t count for the ECB but they did count toward my $1 off $5 coupon 🙂

    • missyalford

Mine was on clearance also, $1.19 each then i used the 4.99 off of 3, so it was free. thank you! But didn’t count to ECB but that’s ok.

  16. Eileen

For the b2g1 coupon they only took off 2.51 because the first rings at 3.49 and the second at 2.51. still good deal thanks to savings star, wish I would’ve seen the other coupon before I left.

  17. Celene

Hi, I have a question! I have the Buy 2 Get 1 Free Coupon on my CVS card, but I also have a printed $2.00/$8.00 Deodorant Coupon from the Coupon Center. Can I combine both of those coupons?

    • ecroston

Yes, you can use a CVS coupon and an MQ together.

    • Mel R.

if you’re referring to the digital manuf cpn.. it doesn’t work. For some reason, the digital bogo type manuf qs don’t always come off and there’s nothing the cashier can do. If by chance it happens to apply, its for some strange amount. The only 1 I got to apply was a Buy 2 Neutrogena, Get 1 free, but it only took off 2.80, even though all 3 items were priced 9.99!

  18. jori g

I was at CVS this morning and the cashier told me if I used the coupon the ECB wouldn’t print and that CVS changed their coupon policy. I called the 1-800 number and asked if this was true and the man said yes. Has anyone encountered this problem? And if CVS has made this change it will be BYE! BYE! CVS.
