I can only print once. I am still doing the cleaner deal.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Hmm, are you able to print a second one from another device? Hope that helps!

    • bw1

These 2 coupons are also on the Cartwheel app.

      • Annalise

So, if I clip this on the app, will is apply to more than one item? I.e., will the $.85 come off EACH cleaner? I feel like the answer is no…

        • Lis

          It only applies to one.

    🤦‍♀️

  3. jess

Ugggggh. I hate it when they only let you print once.

Are we going to do this on every post about dishwasher and laundry detergent?? Are all the comments on this site being made by 5 year olds now? 🙄

    • todd

Get a sense of humor already and stop being so uptight.

  5. Mommyof5

Thank you on my way to do this deal in store

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      You’re very welcome!

Hm. I am wondering if I get two different coupon using two different device, coupons code may be different. So, it can be used same time for one purchase?

    • David

Coupons printed from different devices will indeed have two different codes and thus both can be used.

Can anyone please answer this question for me… I don’t use our dishwasher because of my husband and his thoughts on it not being sanitary. Also he doesn’t like the dishes coming out with spots. Any suggestions on what I could buy to use in my dishwasher. Thanks so much.

    • David

Spots can sometimes be removed with use of a rinse aid (ie. Jet Dry), setting the dishwasher to a hotter setting, or using a different detergent. If none of those work it may be because your water is really hard and that’s a tough one to tackle.

I don’t understand the view that using the dishwasher is less sanitary. Most dishwashers have some sort of sanitize/sani-rinse kind of option which essentially sterilizes the dishes with boiling water. A lot of medical equipment is sanitized in that same manner. Unless you’re adding bleach or some other disinfectant when you wash by hand you are probably soaking your dirty dishes in a literal bacterial stew and then rubbing it all around in effort to remove the larger food particles to give the illusion of cleanliness – eeek.

Run your disposal till the water turns hot before starting the dishwasher. (Disposal needs to be empty and some dishwasher don’t work the right way if the water not hot in the pipes.) we troubleshooted our dishwasher and found cascade dishwasher PODS to be the best detergent. The cascade liquid was complete garbage. Finish brand didn’t clean as good. Even with rinse aid.

We started using the dishwasher in our apartment around thanksgiving and we were randomly getting sick. After 5 weeks of always having a member of our family throw up I finally stopped using it and we haven’t been sick since. After some research it seems like mold can grow behind the scenes of them. Now we handwash and add a cap of bleach to the water.

My husband, well… he would be washing the dishes, so needless to say, we are ok with spots and don’t mind the cheaper dishwasher detergents.

    • K

Most dishwashers have a sanitize setting where the water gets scorching hot. Hotter than what you would be able to tolerate washing dishes by hand, so actually more sanitary. Also if you have a septic system and live in cold climate, it’s really good for your septic system. Since the water gets so hot, it prevents freezing problems.

Thanks so much for all the advice. I don’t like making dishwater so I normally wash each dish 1 by 1. When you do dishes this way it can be a pain.

It may be just because my dishwasher is old but I used Platinum dish detergent pods in my dishwasher and it made the dispenser stick together and it also caused other problems with my washer I thought it was broken but I went ahead and ran it through a cycle with the Cascade Platinum pods that I had and it totally cleared up the problem now it’s working correctly and the dishwasher detergent dispenser is fine. Just thought I would mention that as a note to anyone who might possibly have an old dishwasher.

Oops I said Platinum in my post but I meant Finish dishwashing detergent.

Awesome tip! This is the second time I’ve price-matched Target.com in-store. I did both of these deals today. At my store (Chicagoland, IL), the pods were marked $10.79 ea. But when I scanned them on the Target app (i.e. Target.com), they came up $7.99! The lady at self-check was SO nice and happy to “match” the online price while I was checking out. The worker altering the price didn’t affect the gift card deal either (or Cartwheel), so I still received the $5 GC at the $7.99 price… plus (2) $.85 coupons ea, plus 10% off via Cartwheel! Great score at Target today.
