You drive up and they put a plastic sheet down then a big box of chicken. The chicken is all together in one box, you have to portion and freeze it when you get home. It’s so worth it though. My referral code is ZF881991 if anyone would use it 🙂
It’s been a few years since I ordered, but the breasts came attached (butterfly) and I had to cut them in half, trim them a tiny bit then re-bag individually so I could grab out what I needed from the freezer. It took me roughly an hour to take care of a 40lb box.

I have ordered the chicken several times now, takes me about an hour to clean it and prep it to freeze. I also get their ground beef which has little to no fat to drain! I recently got their bacon as well and omg it’s good! I did try their ground turkey but mine had pieces of gristle or something in it and I couldn’t stand to eat it, they gave me a full refund on my order with no hassle so they are truly great to deal with!
I just ordered some. Yay I won’t get it until March 24th.

How long will this last
I have to be honest…this chicken is super tough! We have tried is several times. I’ve tried everything to help it be more tender (I’m a high school foods teacher so I’ve done my fair share of cooking. It come in a large bag in a box. You then have to separate it to freeze it so that it doesn’t all stick together. It takes about an hour to prep it for the freezer & it’s super messy. Just wanting to warn people before spending that much money on chicken. Ever other meat we have had from Zacon is good.
So even with the deal the chickens not worth it?
I live in Upstate NY, and my total only came to $31.60! Not sure if it’s regional pricing? Either way, NOT COMPLAINING!
