Try to buy this in stores and asking employees for help. They will all think you have a lisp or speech impediment or lack of English proficiency. I have asked before at multiple stores for “shoe goo” and they all just thought I could not say the word “glue.” They kept trying to correct me…. none of them knew what I was talking about and i ended up finding in in the hardware section on my own.
How awful to go through that experience! I would’ve told them “Shoe Goo…you know, like what a baby does — Goo-Goo Gah-Gah!”. If they still didn’t understand (or didn’t even laugh) I’d do a “talk to the hand” motion & walk straight out of the store!
Wal-Mart carries this in the shoe department for $4.99. It is great stuff.
