Please read gift card details!! You are actually paying and charged for your gift card! FROM TARGET : Your account will be charged the amount of the qualifying item reduced by a Target discount in an amount equal to the amount of the gift card, and a separate charge for the amount of the gift card will be assessed.

Hmm, after checking the details again, it seems that applies when returning the item. Hope that helps!

They’ve always done this for online orders. Say an item cost $20 with a Free $5 gift card. The end up charging $15 for the Item and $5 for the gift card. Either way, you still pay $20!

      • Nana

Exactly my point you aren’t saving anything at all. They make it seem like you’re getting the gift card for free and you’re not. I made my purchase at the store and ask the manager about it so it’s not only for online purchases . Also customers should be aware that if you buy online and pay by PayPal if you have to return the item they will only refund you with a gift card. They will not refund back to your original form of payment. So that way you have to spend that refund in their store. So not right

I believe that’s everywhere with paypal purchase. Wal-Mart does the same thing.

        • Angela

You are still saving the money. They just apply value in event of a return. So you can’t return the items and keep the gift card. They reduce the cost of the items by the price of the gift card.

So if the deal is two $10 items with a $5 gift card. You’ll pay $7.50 for each item and $5 for the gift card.

          Two $10 items and free $5 card = $20
          Two $7.50 items + $5 card = $20

          Deal either way.

I bought the 100 oz at CVS for $8.99 this past week, used my $3 coupon and extra dollar off by manager since they were out of the $4.99 sale bottle. Paid $5.19 before tax.

  5. Debby

Also they are on sale at Vons/Safeway as part of the red tag 4 mix and match on sale for $6.99 so with your coupon it comes out to $4.99… I picked up two of them this morning for $4.99. 😀

    • Jessica

I don’t see where they are part of the buy 4 sale, they just look like a sale item to me….Am I missing something?

      • kellyfornia

I’m not finding it on sale at all? Only have the $2 coupon on my app and didn’t see it in the ad either. ?????

    • Mommyof5

I stocked up on this last week at all 3 drug stores for $2 For the 40oz size! I’m good for a minute

  7. julie

yes they charge you for the giftcard but it can be used to purchase other things so the savings is not realized until you use the card
