I can’t find anywhere in the description if this set is dishwasher safe?

    • MamaBear

I have the set. It says dish washer but the tablets for the dish washer will ruion the pretty finish. It says to use powdered detergent. I had a very expensive Emeril Lagasse set and I threw it in the dishwasher with the same intention and it really ruined the Finish that’s why I bought this set. There are other nonstick cookware sets that are better for the dishwasher. I refused to put the sudden the dishwasher and ruin another beautiful finish on my cookware. Other than that the site is very nice 🙂

go through retailmenot for another $20 cash back, $45 for this set not a bad price

How do you go through retailmenot?

      • quyen

you need to sign up an account with retailmenot.com. Search macys, there should be a cash back option for up to $30 cash back, $20 for purchase $100+ or $30 for $150+. click on get reward, a small window will open up. You need to go through their link to shop, pay like you normally would. Once the item ship, they will credit your retailmenot account. You can transfer to paypal after. I made a purchase in early January and they credit my account around the 25th.

😳 I never put my cookware in the dishwasher. I didn’t know there was any that can.

I had this set in orange and the paint chips bad! Also it got so discolored that it looked almost white. I paid full price( I’m obsessed with the color orange and “had” to have them. It was a huge waste of money in my opinion

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Bummer! I’m sorry to hear that they chipped for you. Thank you for the honest feedback!

I have the 1st orange set that was solid orange before they started making the ombré orange. My mom bought it for me my 1st year of college in 2009. Only issue I had was the bottom on the one I used a lot turned black and that’s because i and other people were cooking on high heat. Besides it being black I still use it. Thanks to this deal I just ordered a new one and I’m passing down my old one to my cousin who is in college. I love my Rachel Ray set, it got me through college.

For the rebate, if you ordered online what paper do you send in? The one that comes in the box with the cookware?

  6. Chelsea

This is a great price! Hopefully the rebates don’t take too long. However, I also bought the calphlon when it was on here a month back… does anyone have experience with both sets? I assume the calphlon are better… but $130 vs $50 is a price you cant beat

  7. Becky

Does anyone have any experience with the insides of the pans…do they flake or scratch easily?

    • Sabine

      Yes the paint flakes horribly!
