Target announced late last year that they are acquiring Shipt, a same-day delivery company, with plans to offer same-day delivery at approximately 50% of Target stores starting in the spring. And by the 2018 holiday season, it will be an option at the majority of Target stores, and in all major markets. Wow! More info this way

As of yesterday, February 1st, Target shoppers in the Birmingham, AL, Tampa and other South Florida areas, can visit Shipt.com to see if the service is available in their area. Even sweeter, if it is available, you can score $50 off the annual fee – making it only $49 for the first year!

This will allow shoppers to get same-day delivery services from their local Target store for the entire year. That’s like paying just $4.08 per month to have Target products delivered to your house on the SAME DAY! 🙌

By February 8th, services will be available in 12 more Florida regions and by February 15th, shoppers in Arizona, Oklahoma and Texas can take advantage too! Go here for more details.

Note that this service is for groceries only and includes over 40,000 items that can be delivered! Even sweeter, you can have your items delivered in as little as one hour AND when you order $35+ in groceries, delivery is FREE! To see if service is available in your area, click here.

It’s available in my area. I’ll be more interested when everything is available which would give more competition to Amazon….but maybe that’s why the rumor is out there about Amazon buying Target.

You have on here that delivery is free for over $35 dollars but when I clicked on the link SHIPT says you can try for free for 2 weeks. Do they charge you a shopping fee?

Nevermind I apparently am not a great reader.

Hi Sarah! Delivery is still free for over $35 orders, but if your order is less than $35 then YES you will be charged at $7 fee even if you are using a free trial.

I wonder if I can use Cartwheel with this. If so I’m more inclined to use it.

I’m a Shipt shopper! My area will start Target on the 8th. Remember they also do stores such as Publix, depending on the area! 💚

Me too! I’m in south florida. We started feb. 1! I hope I get a chance to do some orders this Sunday. My fb shipt group has been telling us all the details and hassles on checking out.

      • Frecklelily

Yeah…I’ve heard about needing all that info for TE purchases! So exhausting!

I don’t know how I feel about somebody picking my produce for me. I like to inspect my fruits and veggies. Maybe it’s just me. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I was just at my Target store two days ago and they had mentioned that to me. It’s great when you’re feeling sick and can’t go anywhere not even to go buy groceries

I know this lady that works for SHiPT don’t see how they make any money but, I rather go buy my own stuff – I’m a caregiver for a lady work when the reg person is out of town she used SHIPT and order groceries when I can’t go shopping for the lady that I take care of , reviews not good if say I order red diamond tea and store don’t have it don’t know if they are allowed to substitute items on grocery list , haven’t asked the lady that works for SHIPT

    • Frecklelily

We, as Shipt shoppers, are in constant communication with the customer. If they ask for a certain item and it is not in stock, we will text the customer. Sometimes the customer will tell us to get a substitute, others will say do not substitute. We do NOT replace items unless we are asked to do so.

We’ve used this (with publix) to allow a family member to continue to live on their own. Glad to have additional stores. It isn’t the cheapest (you don’t get all the deals), but the extra cost is worth the peace of mind.

I joined last week when they had the $50 off promo and got my first delivery today. It went great! I had used Instacart a few times but the only local store they serve is Publix and there was an issue every time. I’m excited about shipt!

Yay! Glad to know that it worked so well for you!

I love Shipt!. I am a Shipt shopper myself and if you use my referral code you can save $10 on your first order. The code is: TRYSHIPT44

    Thanks so much!

It’s not available in my area yet. I’m not sure if I’d use it or not though.
