Has anyone gone to these before? Does it last from 9-12 or do you just show up sometime in the time frame?

I took my girls this weekend for the first time for the bean bag event. It was lots of fun and you can show up anytime between that time frame. Most activities last 15-20 minutes, mainly because you wait for the paint to dry before taking it home.

We go to them nearly every month. We love them. You can show up anytime, but be aware that they might run out of supplies. They only get kits based on registries, but my local store doesn’t turn anyone away that shows up (registered or not) so we have missed out twice in the past six months even though we had registered. Both of those times we got there around 11. If we had come just a bit earlier, we would have been fine.

YES! You can just shows up between 9-12 at out local HomeDepot.
Our scout troops registered for the past weekend to make the bean bag toss. The lady who run the workshop didn’t even know we are coming as people just come and go. It’s fun!

Thanks! We haven’t been to one of these in a while. This looks like a fun one 🙂

We usually get there when it starts since it seems less crowded. Went to the last one yesterday and was disappointed though. They had no paint at all and no aprons. Looked like they had tablecloths etc to put out but didnt even bother. Probably the same with the paint since they used to have It. It is free so i cant complain i guess, but my son was bummed. We just painted it at home though.

Alicia, I think it depends the person who run it. Ours at our local Home Depot is very organized and thoughtful.
Maybe give it another try or go to the different location near you.

There are 2 Home Depots near me, and one is friendlier than the other. Interestingly enough, last weekend, I took 1 kid to the friendly HD and hubby took 1 kid to the other HD because the other one was closer and we’d be leaving the friendly one before he’d be getting there since he had a stop to do before.

We go every month and the kids love it. We’ve been told not to even bother registering cause they don’t get a list. Also when my kids were sick last time my husband just went to Home Depot and asked if we could get the kits to take Home and they were perfectly ok with it. (It’s wonderful since the weather has been freezing)
