Besides being a crock-pot, this is also a Pressure Cooker. Plus a few other selections: has searing, some have Yogurt settings, steaming- great for fish and/or vegetables.
Target has the Crock Pot version for 69.99 right now and based on Consumer Reports, this one is just as good PLUS it has NON-STICK pot. The only difference in cooking is the Yogurt turned out thinner but I won’t ever make yogurt. ha
