We Are Wearing Walmart From Head to Toe…

It’s Walmart Wednesday! WooHoo! 🙌

I’ll admit, I’ve fallen in love with Walmart Wednesday fashion! It’s so fun browsing the racks to see what we can find! Each week, I’ve gone shopping at a different Walmart location and I’ve been totally surprised at how different one store is from the next as far as the apparel inventory goes. It seems like they rotate items quickly and different stores carry different items, so be sure and shop multiple locations if you have that option or head online for easy shopping from home.

With that said, here are this week’s looks from my team! Are you joining us? Share with us your Walmart Wednesday outfits by tagging us on Instagram with #walmartwednesday.  😍

AND we loved your recommendations last week too! We’re putting a few of these items on our own lists…

Scnewport says: On the leggings – took my daughter and her friend to look at them. her friend had on LulaRoe’s butter leggings. Yes, she looked great in them ($35ish). At Walmart… same exact material and print (holiday design) for $7.88.

Greytgrlz says: Levi’s Signature Jeans are as comfortable as leggings or pajama bottoms. I love them.

Kristen says: I love their tank tops at Walmart! They last forever and never stretch out!

Nicole says: I looove the Danskin Now kids clothes. I literally just bought my daughter 4 lightweight super cozy sweatshirts (different colors) last week. I think they were $5 each on sale. They are really on trend and super comfortable. Maybe we feature a kiddo outfit next week?

Jenn says: I love the Danskin line!! I’ve been buying hoodies, shirts and workout pants there for several years. I think they are great quality for the price! I also buy their George brand pants and oxfords for my boys for church. They have held up well and if they get a stain on their white shirt, I’m only out $12.

Lularoe leggings should be 25. If they’re paying 35 they’re getting screwed.

    • Natalie

Some of the branded ones are $35. Like Disney

  2. Lori

Love these looks! Y’all look great, ladies!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks Lori! 😊

  3. Vaness

That tank is soooo cute. I have to buy one! Thanks Collin. I’ve never bought clothes at Walmart, but now look forward to the Wednesday posts 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yay! Happy to hear that. Thanks much for taking the time to comment.

  4. Casey Meyers

Not a huge fan of Walmart clothing. Don’t get me wrong they have some cute styles but they just do not last long. Maybe for kids its ok since they grow so fast. There shirts are very long on me. Also there shirts get the little pills balls on them like you see on sweaters after only a few wears.

    • Casey Meyers

There shoes seem to be cheaply made. I don’t have to have high dollar name brand shoes but I do want good quality shoes. Shoes that want give me foot problems when I am older. Don’t get me started on the fashion style flats so thin there is no support.

      • Helen in Meridian

Their Earth Spirit shoes are really well made, great arches and heel support. They have sandals, shoes and boots. They are $24-$29 but really worth it.

        • MamaBear5

I hadn’t heard of the Earth Spirit before- until yesterday, when I found some on clearance for $3! They seemed really well made and good quality! It was quite a surprise and such a great deal.

        • MammaK

I love Earth Spirit sandals I get a new pair every year so comfortable.

      • Sam

I agree with you not good quality clothes. I will pay little more to get good quality clothes.

  5. Laura

    Super cute! Thanks for sharing!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You’re welcome! Thanks for taking the time to comment.

  6. Elaine

I ordered several of the $5 track suits that were posted a few weeks ago. They were super cute and comfortable. Unfortunately they fell apart after the first couple of washes. The deal was too good to be true. I learned my lesson about Walmart clothes.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh bummer! Sorry to hear the track suits did not hold up 🙁 Thanks for sharing your experience Elaine!

  7. Tricia

heads up- There are a ton of CLEARANCE backpacks for just $2.00 at my local WALMART today in Ohio. (they even have some licensed ones)
Cute outfits! I scored a long grey cardigan for $3 today and also a denim legging for $7. woohoo!

    • Casey Meyers

Be carful about some of there book bags. They look very thin and cheap material. Probably want hold up all school year.

      • Emmi

As a 22 year old, I keep my dollar star wars backpack as an emergency bag in my car. It works very well.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Sweet! Thanks for letting us know what you found at your store!

  8. Loving It

You guys are rocking it! I still can’t believe it’s Walmart!!! 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

  9. Christie

You all look nice. Walmart does have some nice things that last. I know because I own some.

  10. Julie G

Stacy looks great-I will be looking for that shirt!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Doesn’t she look cute?! I love her outfit!

  11. brenda

I think Wal-Mart has gotten better staying on trend. Good way to stay up with the styles without breaking the bank because what’s in style today may be out tomorrow. So even if the quality of everything is not superb I still think it’s a good deal. Love Wal-Mart Wednesday!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Happy to hear that. Thanks for the feedback!

  12. LadieErvin

Looking good ladies! I recently realized how cute the granimals kids collection at walmart is for my toodler! Most separates go for about $3.50-$5.00 a piece.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

I know! I agree! I have liked that brand for little ones as well! Thanks for sharing!

  13. Keesh

I am loving these looks great job lady’s

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thank you!

  14. Jackie

These cloths look cute for the first wearing, once you wash them game over, in my opinion. NOT worth the $$.

    • Shannon

Yes totally! Old navy with a sale is about the same price and it doesn’t look awful after one wash!

      • Rochelle

That’s funny – I’m not a fan of old navy clothing because I feel they are cheap. Their shirts shrink up on me and never look as nice after being washed. I have to baby all of my shirts from ON like they’re delicates.

        • Shannon

Maybe it’s just me lol. I actually buy a lot of gap over old navy but I hang to dry or dry on low a lot to get a longer life out of the clothes.

  15. Holly

Love both plaid tops! Danskin makes a great sports bra for $10, zip up front easy to get on/off.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome! I’ll have to browse the sports bras next time I’m there.

  16. Jan

Really cute! Stacy—do you find the jeans stretch out as you wear them? I hate it when they do and a person has to keep pulling them back up.

  17. kroc

I like Stacys look, to me most of the looks are super casual but hers is more dressed up. It’s nice to see a variety of style.

  18. Colorado Amy

I am wearing the jeans Collin is wearing in this video. The very first pair I bought was over a year ago. I was drying them in the dryer and the bottom of the pant legs lost their shape. They looked funny and I would only wear them with boots that would cover the bottoms. So I returned them and bought another pair. I haven’t been drying them and they have kept their shape. I don’t know if drying them was the cause or if I just got a bad pair. I have since bought 2 more pairs in different colors and I haven’t had any issues. These jeans are very soft and comfortable. They are stretchy, not stiff jeans. The “black denim” color shown online is a faded black. The picture online looks like a darker black than the actual color of the jeans I got. If it helps anyone with sizing, I’m 5’5″ 120 lbs and the size 3 fits me. I really like Collin’s shirt and earring. I hope my store has them.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Your feedback is SOOOO helpful! Thank you so much!

  19. meisha

At Walmart today, I found Kryptonics skateboards on clearance for $11.00 with decent designs. Perfect for my teenager who’s graduating this year! ..❤️ Walmart clothes. They fit on me well and material stays good after a couple of washings better than NY & co. and other name brand clothes…and ladies, you all rock!!Thanks for all you do!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You are so welcome! Thanks for commenting!

  20. Jen

Wow – sponsored by Walmart apparently.

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Hi Jen! This post is NOT sponsored by Walmart, just a fun series we came up with since we felt it’d be a challenge to find cute clothing at Walmart. 🙂

      • Rochelle

And you all are knocking it out of the park! Love this series and ignore all the naysayers!

        • Sandy

          Agreed! Enjoying these posts!

          • Lori

            Same here!

  21. VickiM

Wow! Love the looks ladies. Thanks so much for posting Plus size! — Collin, Everytime I try to post a comment thru the app, it never posts. It says posting your comment, but it is never there. This comment I went through the website.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Bummer! Sorry to hear you’re having issues commenting through the app. Can you please email michelle@hip2save.com regarding the app issues? She hopefully can help get this resolved for ya. Thanks so much!

  22. Krystal

I encourage you to check out the documentary “The True Cost” before your next shopping trip to Walmart (or Target, H&M, Zara, etc.). These clothes may be cheap for consumers here in the US, but production practices are literally costing people’s lives in the poorer countries where they are made. I personally don’t want to have a hand in harming someone halfway around the world (or encourage that kind of shopping in others), and choose to shop secondhand or from responsible makers. Just a thought.

    • Megan

Exactly what I was about to post!! This is such a fun idea for a weekly post, but I would love to see it feature more socially responsible brands 😊

    • Prncsnyc

  23. Jennifer

I appreciate everything Collin and her team do for us but I would like to know if Wal-Mart is sponsoring these Wednesday posts.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Hi Jennifer!

No, they are not sponsoring these posts… it would be nice, though! 😉 So hopefully they’ll see the posts and be really pleased and want to sponsor future ones. That’d be awesome!

      • Jennifer

So good to hear, thanks! 😀

  24. Debbie

Collin, I bought that same plaid shirt Monday night on clearance for $9 at my local Walmart. I love that color. Wish they had more like that in other colors but that’s the only one I could find. Can’t get them online. It looks great on you!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks so much, and awesome you were able to score one on clearance! 👏

  25. Chris

Thanks for the suggestions. I would love to see plus size clothing ideas for less than $50+ if possible.

  26. m

Would love to see how the lace back of the plaid shirt looks. It’s super cute in the front.

  27. Mollie

I have never had any problem with Walmart clothing, for myself or the kids. The only thing I don’t like is how small a tank top can be. I can try on a size 20, and it’s way too small. I don’t like anything tight across my breasts and I wear a 38c but I have big shoulders. Can someone recommend what I should try besides a tank?

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Besides a tank, I do like to layer with some of their T Shirts. They are plain and non ribbed. They come in many colors and are super cheap just like the tanks. I find them most often folded on racks in the spring and summer. You may want to try one of those for layering if the tanks have been uncomfortable. It looks like there are a few options ONLINE as well. Hope that helps!

  28. Kim Rodriguez

My girls have to wear school uniforms and Walmarts are SO MUCH better than Old Navy, Children’s Place, and Target!!! Last longer and stains come out way easier!!

    • Angie

Please consider doing a kids look too!! 💕

      • Colorado Amy

That is a great suggestion. I would love to see this Walmart Wednesday post continue for awhile. I have been buying my 9 year son clothes there since he was a baby. Kids grow so fast, I don’t see the point in getting him expensive clothes that he will out grow in a year or less. Walmart has such great prices.

  29. mabfab

that tank with the heart n it is super cute. No Walmarts near me – have to plan to visit it.

  30. Robin

Last week’s flats are on sale for $3. I know you said they weren’t as comfortable as this weeks choice. But they were only $3. Yes $3. I couldn’t resist the fuchsia and leopard print ones’. Walmart Wednesday is fun. I was such a snob!!!

  31. Susan Crawford

This is intresting post every week but I am too cheap to even consider buying clothes from Walmart. I go to Goodwill and I purchase clothes on their 50% sales. For jeans I go to Macy’s and hit the clearance racks. I have found that the clothes from Walmart are cheaply made and do not hold up. This is just my opinion.

  32. JA

You all look great! And are very lucky to have no snow on the ground😂

  33. Judy Trac

I couldn’t find those leggings at walmart. looked everywhere and can’t find anything

  34. Bethany

I love, love, love their $1.67 camis! The fabric doesn’t stretch out, so I feel “controlled” all day. Mine have lasted wash after wash too. I’ve also picked up some inexpensive, trendy swim suit cover ups over the years. Would love to see the totals $$ added up for the outfits!!

  35. moria

I don’t like most Walmart clothing for me as an adult, but I did find some capri leggings over the summer I liked. I have a 6 year old daughter who has had clothes from Walmart since she was a baby. I have only had a problem with the Garanimals brand. They just doesn’t last more than a few wears/washes- not worth it even if it is only $1 I still won’t buy.

  36. Ktex8383

I bought those blue earrings this weekend and also wore them today. I got so many compliments! I’ve gotten so many super cute earrings that are incredible knockoffs for my expensive ones from Premier Jewelry. I LOVE both pairs, but definitely love the Wal-Mart price tag more!

  37. Nina

Yes you can find some useful, good clothing at Walmart, you just have to be really careful and picky and check fabrics and brand, quality and material.. if you want them to hold up.

  38. VB Vee

My Top Cash Back account is offering me 10% back on clothing purchases from Walmart.

  39. Debra

The three of you look adorable. I look forward to seeing next weeks outfits!

  40. Tricia

I look forward to Walmart Wednesdays every week! Love the idea! Thanks for doing it and keep them coming!

  41. Melissa Reeder

Although i haven’t been a Walmart shopper before, i now want to go check out their clothing. I love this new Wednesday thing and you gals look adorable! Stacy you are rockin that outfit! 🙂

  42. *Angela-Miles*

Collins always so adorable!! I Love the plaid, gonna try an find me one similar next time I’m their. Last Monday my Walmart had a rack of $1 clothes by the shoes. I grabbed 8 cute dressy tank tops an shorts, one even had a bra attached to it. Such nice deals for a dollar! 🙂 😉 Keep ur outfit post coming 🙂

  43. Erin

I am LOVING that Plaid shirt w/ lace back! Walmart typically carries my absolute FAVORTIE brand, Cuddl Duds. They are so comfy & warm, esp the fleece.
