I am a Cricut user already, but I was wondering if anyone had opinions/feedback on the Cricut Easy Press. I am interested in getting one to create soccer team spirit wear, instead of paying a local print shop. I would love your thoughts on this.

    • Jo Ann

I heard so many negative things about the Easy Press requiring pressure to press and the fact that it is only 9″x9″ that i just bought a heat press that is 15×15 and got it for about $20 more than the heat press. I LOVE it!

      • Christi

Can you tell me which heat press you bought?

        • Jo ann

I bought the ridgeyard 5 in 1 on Amazon. It is a beast. I love it! I think that is the correct brand. I read that until you got to the commercial brand level they were pretty much the same. I wanted 15×15 platen and the hat accessory. Hope this helps.

    • Katie

I purchased the Powerpress 15”x15” instead of the easy press. The complaints I heard about the easy press of still needing to use pressure and the small size made it an easy choice for me. I think if I needed to have a portable option or was limited on space it would be worthwhile.

If someone doesn’t mind; what’s the difference in the two machines?

    • LS

I read what it says, but I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with them and if the 2 is worth the extra money? Thx

      • Ger

The 2 Just has a faster mode button you press. Like if you need to make 100 invites, you’d want the 2…but other than that, there’s no other difference. I love my explorer Air.
And the Heat press is awesome! Saves you time, rather than using iron! Lol

    • Jo

The Air 2 has a fast speed. I believe this is the only difference.

  3. Renee

I have debating getting one of these for awhile…I went to the site and they have explore one, explore air and explore air 2.

Any recommendations for a newbie? 🙂

  4. hahn

I’m new to it but am considering. What else and how much for like the things to put on shirts

    • Rachel

Heat transfer vinyl(HTV) and an iron(with lots of heat and pressure) or heat press and the svg file of what you want to cut. It’s really fairly simple. You can find HTV on Amazon for a great price. (I recommend siser easyweed). YouTube would be your best friend for howtos. There are also Facebook groups that help.

Thank you for your advice Rachel. 😊

  6. Malinda

I’ve been on the fence about buying a Cricut. I just ordered a great bundle more than half off. Thanks Hip2Save!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re so welcome Malinda!

    • Blessinghs4sales@gmail.con

Where is best place to buy Cricut air bundles? What are recommendations? Any help appreciated for this super newbie!

  7. Lolojn6

I just ordered one today. From what I read the air 2 has bluetooth built in and can work with phones. The 1 has the capability but you would have to buy an adapter that runs about $49.99.

    • Hilary

I have the Explore Air 1 and it also uses Bluetooth.

      • Amy

Did you have to buy the adapter separate so that you could use the Bluetooth?

    • Lolojn6

From Cricut website. The Air 2 also has a fast mode.
The Explore Air and Explore Air 2 have built-in Bluetooth, but for Explore One and Explore, you will need a Cricut Wireless Bluetooth Adapter in order to use it with your iPad/iPhone or to cut wirelessly from your computer.

  8. Amber

Does anyone have the Circuit maker? Any advice on which one is better and the major differences between this and the Air 2?

  9. Heather

Do you know how this sale is going on?

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Hi Heather! I am not finding an end date listed. It appears to be available for a limited time. 🙂

  10. Christi

I did it. I’ve been on the fence for years but I did it today!

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      Yay!!

  11. Jenn

    Is this code still valid?

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Yes! I still find both codes above to be valid for me as I head through checkout. Be sure to try a different browser Or switch over desktop view if it does not work for you.

  12. Sarah

Has anyone had any luck stacking the cricut access 10% discount with this? The FAQ on the cricut accesss page says the 10% isn’t stackable with other discounts. Am I missing something?

    • Sarah

Disregard my question, I need to have my eyes checked, lol. Saved me quite a bit on a new set-up. My sister will be so happy that I quit borrowing hers all the time. Thanks Hip2Save!!

  13. Nicko

Does the Circut Marker (The Cricut flagship) ever go on sale, or would I not need it starting off? I would like to designer my own tee shirts for work and some for my daughter for school. Monogram gifts, make some things to decorate my living room wall.

  14. Kate

Can you make decals/bumper stickers with a cricket?
