I applied the last time this was posted about a month ago and was accepted after a few longish surveys. They only wanted me for my entire Amazon shopping history, which wasn’t worth turning over to them for $3. Haven’t heard a thing from Pinecone since. That was a lot of hassle setting up an account and answering 3 surveys for $.50. Disappointed for all the reviews people gave about this company.

I was a member of Pinecone for several years and recently they stopped sending surveys because they periodically refresh the composition of their panelists. I was really bummed because Pinecone was my favorites. I was with Pinecone for about 10 years before they changed how they did their surveys. Now you have to do a survey to qualify for the survey that would pay you the $3. Before this change I would make more than $100 a year now I only made $3 in the last 12 months. It seems they only wanted to keep track of my Amazon purchases for $3 a month. Three dollars was not worth the invasion of my privacy. It got to the point that it was not worth my time and energy to do these pre-surveys on the off chance that I may qualify for the “real” survey. I qualified 1 time out of approx. 50-60 pre-surveys. So with regret I had no choice but to cancel my membership. I hope this helps anyone who is thinking of joining.
