Does CVS take expired ECB? Mine is expired by a day
the register will still accept it up to 2 days past the exp date.
I think your mileage may vary. Mine absolutely won’t take them if they are expired….even if it’s only by a day.
The register will automatically accept them and scan ok up to 2 days past expiration. But if the cashier looks at the date and refuses then its up to the stores manager.
Mine definitely won’t take them! One time i let $23 expire and was sick about it! I even call corporate to see if they could do something… they said No! So now what i do when i accumulate quite a few extra Care bucks is buy one item that is high enough in price to use up all the bucks at once and then return that item and they will put all the Bucks that you used on a gift card. The gift card will never expire!
Well, they are supposed to accept them as Corp has allowed a 2-day grace period for both expired EBs and CRTs. I guess some managers like to think they’re above corp. But anyway… AFA returns, you really need to be careful doing that, esp with high value returns. CVS uses a 3rd party now and after so many, your acct will be flagged and you’ll have to start showing your ID. And possibly the store will no longer be able to process returns, making you call the 800 # that prints on the receipt. Happened to a lady in front of me a few wks ago. She was steaming mad, but the cashier couldn’t do anything at that point until she called the other co.
I try roll my EBs so I’m ahead at least 2 wks. Like last wk, I spent all my bucks expiring this wk and next wk so I don’t have expiring this ad. Which is a good thing since it’s slow wk. The only deals I’m for sure doing are the Phys Formula and Extra Gum, so I’ll use up some EBs expiring the wk of March 12. If I have more EBs to spend then I’m getting in return, I don’t mind burning them down on grocery items or see what offers I can flip to cash from Ibotta, Ckout51 and Saving*. I never return things unless it’s absolutely necessary.
I plan on doing the Scott deal but can some one tell me if the Disney Egift card can only be used at Disney stores or locations, it’s not a regular gift card that can be used at any store?

When I go to print the $1 coupon off of Scott tube- free it shows up and prints as .55 instead. Oh well, I need to use up ECB and a huge stash of TP is probably the way to go especially if I can get Disney cards (keeps better than makeup!)
Not sure if it’s a glitch, but I bought two garnier make up wipes and my receipt says $3 off 2 but it actually took off $5! I thought it was weird when I looked at my coupons in the app and it said $5 off at the top and then said $3 off 2. Coupon printed at the store as $3 off two facial products. Used two $2 off coupons and ended up paying $4.18 and got $5 extra bucks. Hope this makes sense!
yeah, there is some sort of glitch with the crts. when I checked the app before walking into the store yesterday, it said Save $5 off 2 Garnier Skin Care, but printed as $3 off 2. When the cashier scanned, it came up pending, but did indeed take off $5! I got 2 of the Sheet Masks, so it was a nice MM! $3.09 x 2 = $6.18 – $5 crt = $1.18. Get $5 back.

I seen the same cpn in my app for Garnier, but when I scanned my card on Sunday at the red machine it printed a blank cpn. I didn’t send to my card because a few weeks ago I sent a cpn to my card and the next day the cpn was reduced by $2 and it wasn’t even worded incorrectly like this Garnier cpn. For those that got to use the $5 off 2 garnier cpn, did you print the cpn early Sunday?
