I own this too, it’s in my powder room on the shelf among other things as decoration. Got it at a special price as well. I would not have paid full price for it . LikeLike others said it is very small FYI but super cute!
I have 6 of these that are very similar I bought at Michael’s a few years ago. I put them in a row in my flower beds along side my Tuff shed outside, that is the same color blue. I hang them on shepherds hooks I bought at dollar tree for $1. The shepherds hooks are about 3 feet high. I put battery operated tea lights in them and turn them on at night during the summer months. I tried real tea lights, but the wind blows them out , and even if its not windy the real tea lights don’t seem as bright as the battery operated ones. Dollar tree has the shepherd hooks again in the stores right now.
I am trying to find lanterns for my wedding but bigger than these. Anyone have any ideas on where I can find them cheap?
Old Time Pottery has had great selections of lanterns in the past. They have a 9″ lantern with LED candle for $4.99 listed on their webpage but apparently you can only purchase in a store.
Michaels has very nice lanterns for $10, normal size for a table centerpiece, not tiny like these. Hobby Lobby has a good selection & I think they’re half price in this weeks ad. We have a wedding coming up in May, so I’ve checked a lot of stores and those are the cheapest I’ve seen that are good quality and nice size. When looking at sizes online be aware that the height listed includes the handle. Happy Hunting!
