I don’t know . . . two books a month doesn’t feel like enough to keep me in books. Maybe 15 a month . . .But really, thank you. This is an awesome giveaway!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      You’re welcome Candace! 😉

  2. Mary

Thank you!! If I could just read all the time ….. love to relax and just read!

    • Joni

Me too! I love reading. Now I mostly read kid books to my littles but I’d love to sit down and read for myself more often!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

I’m with you Mary! I would love to sit and read all day and night. When you have a good book it is SO hard to put down, even to go to sleep! LOL!

  3. Peggy

I’m excited about this except that Penguin Books picks out the books you get. {Tense face emoji} I read enough weird stuff in college – I like to pick out my own books. 🙂

    • Daisy

I agree! The quiz for recommended books was pretty basic. They bow know i’m late 30s-mid 40s and don’t care about being up to date on new books

  4. Lilianna

This is a great idea…but we should get to pick our own….oh well, yay for my free books from Netgalley!

I’m in love with my Kindle … It’s worth every $ I spend.
I’ve found I don’t do well with Audible books. I start the reading and my mind wanders like a kid on their last week of school. You can smell the peonies blooming, the hint of an upcoming rain…
    And yep… that’s why I can’t do Audible!
There’s nothing like Spring in Indiana! Fairly, I lived in California for 17 years. So many great things about Cali.
I love Hip2Sav! Thanks Colin and your Peeps!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You’re very welcome CJ! Thanks for the sweet comment! Glad you have been enjoying your Kindle!

  13. Casey

I would love to win this! I read 3-4 books per month.

    • Katrina Weiss

I actually looked through the comments because I wanted to see how long it would take for someone to say this. I’m probably a boring person for doing that, and I’m also a book nerd!

      • Katrina Weiss

Sorry, this was meant for Joni’s post!

  14. Joni

Why are we nerds for liking books? Can’t we just be book lovers? Just a thought. I mean I’m not offended and all and I get it’s to be humorous. I get my kids don’t look at this site since they are (duh) kids, but I wouldn’t want to to associate reading as nerdy. Okay, I’ll stop. Lol. I know I’m looking too much into it.

    • Jen

I had the same thought! Poor choice of words, but not something to get upset over at the end of the day. Reading is definitely not nerdy though!

    • Laura

I thought it was funny 🤷

    • Becky

I tend to agree with you…and my teen girls do go on this site. I’ll send them on it to search for a coupon or a certain posting that I saw. They help out with couponing. And they love to read, but I don’t need anyone reinforcing this idea that being smart, liking to read, etc. is nerdy. I guess we will use it as a teachable moment when they see it. Why can’t the posting titles just state what they are? They don’t have to try to be clever.

    • Amy

🙄 For the love of god ❄️❄️

    • Joni

I didn’t think about that there would be older kids on here. That is a valid point and glad you can use it as a teachable moment.

Sounds like this would be perfect for you Bonnie! YW

  17. AZinOZ

Entered but I didn’t answer any questions about what books I read. I must have missed something.

  23. hrosana

  24. Candice

  25. Rebecca

  26. Catie

I think it’s kind of cool that they will pick the books–maybe I will discover some fantastic new authors I was unfamiliar with and step out of my reading comfort zone! Thanks for the heads up on the giveaway!
