We did that last year. Found tickets to Zurich for $422 from Florida. It was an amazing trip, just beware switzerland is extremely expensive!!

I used the Google flights search. Hands down best flight search tool. Our flight i believe was through united but due to weather we were rebooked on lufthansa. We went in May last year and in September 6 years ago. Flew in to Zurich and out of Zurich. I planned both trips myself and had a really cheap car rental for both trips. Driving is a breeze there and phone GPS works perfect.
this last trip we drove through Austria,Prague and Germany as well
