There is also a digital coupon for $1/1 colgate toothpaste at Walgreens.com.

Thanks sturgissaver! I just added that. 🙂

see below comments about b1g1 50% sale from last week still in the system—-?glitch—-was doing my planned purchase and saw the receipt with it there

Can this deal be done more than once? I got 4,000 points this morning for this deal but wondering if I can do it again

    • Tammy

Yes, Karen, you sure can. At Walgreens, you can do pretty much as many advertised points offers per transaction as you want. The only exception may be when you have a clip to card offer, such as the “Get X points when you spend Y in one transaction” which some have right now. Those specific targeted offers are a one time use, as far as I know.

Now, the Register Rewards are a different story — they are one of each type per transaction, but I have personally never had an issue doing multiple transactions for the same offer at Walgreens. HTH

        Thank you, great info!

If you use points, can you still receive points?
    TIA

    • JP

Yes. Because this is a but 2 get 4,000pts. If it were spend $ get 4,000pts it wouldn’t work. I used coupons and points and still earned them.

  4. Carrie

I work for walgreens if u earn points it depends on how much u spend if u can redeem points it’s real tricky

I bought this yesterday and the deal is even better, that Total is bogo 50% off. 2 Total toothpaste’s rang up to $4.50 – $4 mc = $0.50 plus tax and 4,000 points! Amazing deal!

Just came to post this myself – I got the 4 oz size and rang up $3 and $1.50, $2.00 off coupons worked fine too.

      • takingachance

  6. Amy

Had problem using 2 $2 coupon he want me to used one bec one per purchase

    • JP

Hopefully you got it by explaining that each toothpaste is a purchase. Very different from One Per Transaction…

This one is better than you’ve said. I just went to my local store and paid $3.58 for two Colgate toothpastes and a small bag of candy, which was marked at .79 cents. And I got 4,000 points. My receipt said buy one get one half off and then I used two $1 off coupons. Wish I had more!
