Just an FYI to rabbit owners ~ high quality rabbit food should be made only of compressed timothy hay. It should not include nuts, grains, seeds, veggies and fruits like the one shown in the photo in this post. Rabbits have a very sensitive and complex digestive system. Sure, your rabbits will enjoy eating nuts and seeds, but it is not good for optimal health. Please do consider your rabbits’ health when buying their food. My rabbit lived to be over 12 years old. He lived indoors and on a high quality diet. Fruits should be given in small doses. Dark leafy veggies should also be given daily.

Totally agree. My current rabbits have never even had the food with all the extras in it. When I was a kid, we bought the rabbit food with the extras in it 1 time, and the rabbits ate only the pellets anyways!

The same is true for guinea pigs!

Kaytee is a horrible brand. I have a guinea pig and chinchilla, none of that extra crap is good for them or necessary.

I’m sorry you’ve had a poor experience with this brand. Thank you for the honest feedback!
