  2. Scarlet B

This deal just keeps getting better 🙂 Thank you!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

I know! Right!? You’re SO welcome!

  3. C

Mine were among those not tagged for $2.99, but they did ring up at the sale price. I have never seen the coupons adjust down before to take into account the gift card. I have only seen it when the price of the item is less than the coupon value. The cashier was unaware too, and said she had no idea. I figured the reason was to avoid it being a money maker and your post confirms my thinking. Thanks!

  4. ProudMama

Wow! Coupon is gone! So glad I printed 4 of them the other day!!!! These are $2.99 at my local store. Thank you!!!!

    • Christina

Coupon still shows up for me

      • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

I am still seeing this as well. Are you able to print them from another computer?

  5. Maleeta

If you printed them the other day that means you have reached YOUR print limit. Not that the promotion has run out of prints and is over for everyone.

  6. Aviiee

I brought these today i brought 4 thinking its 3.49 ea but ran up $2.99 ea. But my coupons were only takin off $1.74 so i pay $5.96 but got $5 back still a good deal ty

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Thanks for sharing how the deal worked for you Aviiee!

I’m wondering if Target will get reimbursed by the manufacturer for the full $2 off for each item or will they know Target only gave the customers a partial value of $1.74 or whatever off…

    • Sara

I’d like to know too. It would be fraud onTarget’s part to claim $2 (per the coupon ‘s value) when in fact they only gave their customers $1.75 off. Sure, they gave a gift card, but that’s independent of a product ‘s coupon.

      • Marylynn

I was thinking the same thing. Target is going to get $2 back on each of my four coupons. And why $1.74? It’s Target giving out gift card. That has nothing to do with the value of my coupon.

    • Just passing through

Exactly! I don’t agree with the reduced coupon because the store is getting full amount when they send it in.

    • muquee

Target gets the full amount of the coupon. I had this discussion a while back on a cat food purchase with coupons when Target started doing this. The supervisor said it helps (Target) offset the costs of the Gift Card promotion. So if you are Savvy and Smart (follow Hip2Save) to minimize your expenses, Target penalizes you. Total BS IMO.

      • Lisa

You can always post redeem after the transaction. I forgot a couple of coupons for a giftcard offer & got the full value of the coupons back.

  8. Lisa

Hello how can i print 4 coupons? Am i printing 4 copies or am i going into coupons.com 4 separate times? Because won’t they have the same codes ?

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Hi there! Be sure to print from another device to grab all four coupons. You should be able to print 2 coupons per device. Hope that helps!

    • Cfosh

      Reall
y not legal to do that way…just FYI

    • rose

sorry, but what you are doing is committing fraud and the store will not be reimbursed for the coupons because they are identical. each coupon prints with a special tracking/verify code, which embeds your computer IP info and all those duplicated will be traced back to you and you can be blocked from future printing. Print once, then go back through to print another set. Most coupon sites limit you to 2 coupons per device. So if you need more than 2 q’s, you’ll need to print using another device.

  9. Lisa

Hello. How does one print 4 coupons? (Stupid question) are we printing 4 copies when it’s time to print or are we going on the website from 4 different devices? Because won’t they all have the same code?

    • Kris

You can print twice per device so you’ll need 2 devices to print 4 coupons. Do not print 4 copies! If you use copied coupons, coupons.com can track the IP address the coupons were printed from and block you from printing any more coupons.

    • spi_cy13

      Lisa,
If you want four of the $2/1 coupons, you will need it print them from two different devices (ex. two coupons from a laptop and two coupons from the coupons.com app on a smartphone). When printed correctly, all four coupons will have four different 16-digit numbers on the barcode underneath the expiration date. The 13-digit number above the barcode that will be scanned at the register on all four coupons will have the same number. Happy couponing! 🙂

  10. Joy

Question? Can I use (2) 3.00 off 2 coupon from Sunday paper, pay 6.00 and get back 5.00 gift card?

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      Yes you can! 🙂

  11. Judy Trac

Can’t beat free but I don’t want to pay the tax 🙁

  12. Gr

Will it matter if the coupons have the same upc and will there be an issue using all 4 of the same coupons on 1 transaction?

    • rose

It’d be no different if you clipped 4 insert q’s, all the upc’s will be the same. With IPs, what needs to be different is the verify code in the box in the right corner. as long as those are unique, that’s fine.

  13. Smile

Target doesnt accept printed coupons now? They said no today.

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

According to their official coupon policy they do accept them as long as they have a scannable barcode. You may want to go back and speak to the manager.

  14. MrsV05

Can you use 4 of the same coupon in one transaction?

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      Yes!

  15. julie

I really don’t know how we can do this…. my store will only honor 2 of the same coupon. Is it the store, n should I try another store… I tried 4 n they said no. The coupon specifies only 2 of the same coupon per transaction…

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh bummer! It must be how your store is honoring this offer. The details of the coupon list up to 4 per household, per day. Hope that helps!

  16. Amy Knightley

Tried this today but I didn’t get the gift card unless I bought 4 of the shampoos that are priced at 3.xx I didn’t get the gc.
Boo so I will try again later but how are ppl getting the gc when you buy the 2.99 shampoos? I did self check out and the lady said because in the add you need to purchase 4 that are 3.xx and it did say that?
