Great to hear how useful it has been for your Kelly! My daughter has been begging me for one to make some yummy smoothies! I may need to grab it! 😉

I saw a demo at Costco a couple months ago which left me wanting one. Price is still too high than what I am willing to pay. The sorbets made by the demo lady were smooth, delicious and healthy! Perhaps someone will gift me one as a housewarming gift 🤣.

That does sound yummy! Hoping you receive one soon! 😉

    Is this best price?

My experience with our Vitamix has really not been great. It’s not as awesome as everyone says it is. I often end up using our $30 food processor instead because it does a better job, and that says a lot!
It’s a disaster for nut butters or anything like pesto or even ice cream. It just doesn’t do the job, especially if you don’t need a large amount. Plus, everything heats up really fast and I don’t like that my food is being heated in a plastic container. Just my humble opinion. Not sure about a better option at this point.

I have to agree with you on the Vitamix letdown. I find that things get stuck under the blade, therefore, lot of waste. I use my magic bullet as much (maybe more) than my vitamix for individual smoothies and salad dressings just because it is more convenient.

LR, what kind of food processor do you have? Thanks.

Thank you for the review. I have the ninja and absolutely adore it but if there was something better i would want to try it. I feel better knowing the ins and outs.

We use ours at least 2x a day. I make our peanut butter in it as well. Super easy to clean & a fabulous warranty.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

How neat! Good to know this one is easy to clean Katie! My old blender was a pain to clean!

There’s a class action lawsuit for the blade if you happen to already own one. Give them your serial # and you’ll get a replacement or $70 GC.

I do enjoy our vitamix, does a very good job every time we use it. I do agree that’s it’s not great at doing small amounts of nut butter. It’s excellent at making my sweet and spicy almond butter very smooth in a short amount of time. We’ve made so many things including broccoli cauliflower carrot bisque, smoothies, blending tomatoes to make our own pasta sauce, grinding grains for flour etc. the customer service is also excellent, it has been a good investment for us. 🌺

How does this compare to the one offered at Costco? We had ours for 8 years and it finally died.

I have one and it works great for frozen fruit. I broke the blades on 3 other blenders before this.

I am in love with my Ninja Blender. It is half the price of the one above mentioned bad it works wonders. The smoothies are amazing with solid frozen fruits . I even managed to make sorbet! I am a bit disappointed that I did not jump into a recent wonderful sale posted on Ninja IQ few weeks ago but I still wouldn’t change it .

If I want to start juicing but don’t want to use a juicer because I want all of the vegetable in there, would this be good for that?

I have had my Vitamix for 18 or so years. I also have every other appliance known to man….appliance junky. I have an immersion blender that I have had for 30 years, and a Cuisinart that came out the xmas before the 1st Star Wars was released. It is a good appliance. I may use the immersion blender inside quart jars for salad dressings or chopping smaller things. I believe the newest Vitamix has a wide base and lower profile smaller than 64 oz. to fit under kitchen cabinets, and wider to easier get peanut butter and small thick things form the bottom. Costco gives you a 7 year guarantee, and when you call the company they send a to and from prepaid boxes to send in for free.
