Can you use free cash and still received the 20in points ?

    • Jennifer (Hip2Save Sidekick)

No, you do not want to use it on any point earning offers.

      • hemaya

        Thanks🙂

  2. Amy

How long for points to show up in your account to use them? Are there any free shipping offers to use with points that have been earned?

    • Jennifer (Hip2Save Sidekick)

You points are available the next day and are valid for 7 days. Shipping is free over $25.

Thought points earned were good for 14 days?

        • Jennifer (Hip2Save Sidekick)

They are sometimes, but this deal specifically says only 7 days.

Thanks so much for posting this! I have been wanting to buy an inexpensive cordless drill. I bought the Black & Decker one that is on sale. Paid $36 with tax for the drill and a drill bit set after using the $5.00 off $35.00+ coupon from Sears. Great deal after the cash back! You guys are soooo awesome!! 🙂

    • Jennifer (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      You are soooooo welcome!

I’ve been looking at vacuum. We finally picked one, and on Amazon it is $129.99. I started checking everywhere else. It was the same price at Sears, plus I had $10 in points, and $15 in Surprise Points. With tax I paid $111, and I got $56 back in points!

    • Marie

Please come back and update tomorrow if you actually get your points. I know you usually can’t use points AND earn in the same transaction. I was curious if you stay above the $20 or $100 threshold, if you’ll still receive points!

      • Sam

Marie I’m sure she will get the points because she paid $111 out of pocket after redeeming her points. You have to pay required amount after coupons and points.

      • Erica

Usually as long as after using your points, you are still over $20 OOP, you should still get the points too!

I’m still waiting for my points on the last clothing $20 for $20 offer. The items arrived separately and I wasn’t given credit for points. I’ve chatted with 2 different Sears reps and both assured me I’d should still get them.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Darn! Hoping you receive them soon Bonnie!

  6. Beth

With the $20 you get back can you use it on food/household products/ etc.. ? (Stuff you can’t usually buy with freecash offers?)

    • Beth

The points you get back are typically valid on any purchase. I’ve used them on household stuff without any problems.

Anyone know about the $40 back in points for $40 purchase in home items that was posted on Hip2Save on March 7th and was supposed to be valid through 3-17? I tried it today on enameled Crock Pot skillet, but it does not exist?

    • 3bettins

I saw the same thing, it’s gone. If I have time I might call to see if you can still get it.

    • Nels

I did the deal the other day, but did not receive points. I didn’t use any coupons or offers. I sent email to sears and they sent me to SYW – haven’t heard from them yet.

  8. misty

Sorry – posted on March 6th.

  9. Josh

Can I use the $20 in points I earned the next day to earn $50 in points on $100 purchase?

    • Luv

Just make sure you spend $100 OOP AFTER coupons and points then you should get the $50 points back. HTH 🌺

    • j

Was told its a one time deal so if use 20 earn 20 back can’t do again was told in chat 🙁 i tried to get more stuff today it wouldn’t work for me on anything even if i hit the 100 mark no 50 back 🙁 it’s confusing i don’t see where it says only one use it says up to 100 back in points is the max so i’m confused and the chat person said it should work since its a different department then what i bought yesterday was in but it still didn’t matter what department it wouldn’t work for me.

Debating if I want to do this dance with sears/SYW; they don’t always award my points. I’m only trying to get uniforms for next school year, JCP didn’t have uniforms on sale/clearance instore so I didn’t want to spend more than $6-7 a piece since that’s about the price point for the Walmart George brand. Any good ideas out there?🌺

One thing that has helped me is to use my phone to take a picture of my iPad screen before I submit an order. This has helped me sooooo much when dealing with customer service…. I have used it with Amazon as well when they had a free movie ticket when you purchased a certain Star Wars toy. In the end, the picture I had was the only reason why they fulfilled what was posted online and I got the movie promo code. Hope this helps!
