I got a size 4 soccer ball for $5 last night, they had them with the camping and hunting clearance. They had size 5 for $7. I was very happy because we lose at least 1 ball each season.

These are nice tents. I have the 8 sleeper single dome one that I grabbed up at least 10 years ago now for $20 and it’s still holding up great! I will caution — if you’re in a moist area, throw a tarp down first to help better keep it out of the tent. A good sheet of plastic also works.

My local Walmart showed 6 in stock. When I got there I couldn’t find them so I asked an employee. They had them on a display in the center aisle marked at $198, but when he checked the price for me, it showed $49. He seemed to think it was a mistake, so I grabbed one and almost literally ran with it. Hahahaha! Such a great deal, thanks for posting about it!

My Walmart showed 4 in stock and I couldn’t find them either in the normal tent aisle. The employee I asked looked it up on the handheld scanner, and the scanner said they didn’t even carry the item. I was bummed, but then I walked around a bit and found 3 of them on a center aisle clearance display near the outdoors stuff! Not sure why the scanner said the store didn’t carry the item when there were still at least 3 to sell, but I didn’t question it. Just did a happy dance and grabbed one (not sure I could have ran with it though – it’s heavy, lol!).
Went to the nearest Wal-Mart…my store said there were 6 of them But when we got there the guy said they were all gone. I did run into another subscriber looking for them too. Had innot had my kids with me I would have searched the store..

After looking around I found these in a second clearance area near seasonal items. They also had a 4 person instant tent for $13, a canopy for $19, a 6 person for $19, and an instant 6 person for $25. I had found these under a store search so knew to look for the ones I wanted. Nothing was marked clearance but showed the clearance price when price scanned.

Thank you for posting this! A local nonprofit Veterans outreach group has been needing a big tent and I was able to get 1 to donate to them! They were looking for a GP medium size military surplus tent, but the only ones I found were $1,000+! This is slightly smaller and not military grade, but should do the trick for a while 🙂 I had to call 2 stores that showed in stock. Evidently they were stowed in the back room on a shelf up near the rafters. Husband liked it when he saw it, so I went back and snagged one for him. If you Hipsters ever find a real deal on military surplus outdoor equipment…
I live in CALI in the Los Angeles area has anyone from Cali been able to find this item I have looked on brickseek called several Wal-Mart’s and am having no luck????????
