  1. Kyliejay!

    That dress is so cute!

  2. Kimberly

I really despise when TCP does this. I had my shopping cart full last night with some great deals, and now today when they’re having their big “sale”, the price on EVERYTHING I had in my cart has INCREASED.

    • Jess

Well, of course the prices increased, it’s their annual “jack prices before the place cash kicks so it’s virtually worthless in sale”. I too actually like TCP clothes, have bought them for years, but the pricing swings are ridiculous.

    • Just passing through

Yup! I had the lucky shirt in my cart hoping it would go back to 99 cents. Yesterday it was $1.99 today it’s $2.67 🙄

  3. Becky

Yes Kimberly I know your shopping pains all too well and have been there myself. I went to TCP website to see what things cost this week. Last week, I ordered flip-flops for Easter baskets for $1.98 and today the same ones are “50%” off making them $2.97 —the price went up.

  4. Holly

    Thanks! I love their PJs!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

You’re welcome Holly! We have liked their PJ’s too! They seem to hold up well!

  5. Sue

the text coupon is a link to google pay? I had to install a new app? guess I just wasted my time with the extra $10. The clearance prices are ok. yes they do play with pricing but I did get my daughter a cold shoulder dress for 4.99. my sons got some t shirts for $2.62.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Hi Sue! If you have an Android device, you may need to download the Google Pay app and then open that to grab the code. You could then delete the app. Hoping that helps!

      • AJ

Amber, are you actually getting a code to enter into the childrens place website or just a bar code? I’m just getting a bar code to use in-store.

        • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Yes! You can click on “save in the app”, then open the Google Pay App and click on the bottom “cards” tab to find the offer listed. You can then select that offer and you will see both a barcode and a code you can enter online. Hope that helps!

          • AJ

            Thank you Amber!!! That worked!

            • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

              Yay! You’re very welcome!

  6. Kimmie

Thank you! I got 23 items for $56. I love when they have this sale.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      That’s awesome Kimmie! You’re welcome!

Is anyone else really disappointed with the direction that TCP is going with their shirts? I’ve shopped there for years but all I could find a few weeks ago were shirts with ridiculous hashtags and emojis and graphic tees that give conflicting messages to kids! Sorry, I’m not buying my 6-year old a shirt that says #squadgoals or with the barfing emoji on it (I saw both of these in-store). It’s a real turn-off and I’m not sure how much more I’ll be purchasing from them.

    • chickie00

I agree. I can’t stand most of their graphic shirts anymore. I keep hoping they’ll come up with something actually worth getting for my daughters, but nope. just disappointed. they have some good stuff still, but their graphic shirts are pathetic, imho.

    • beth

Agreed, Haley. I am very turned off by their graphic shirts for boy and for girls. They’re awful lately.

      • A.Rich

Agree especially girls I am all about girl power but can we change it up a little an or something without words would be great!

    • C

I completely agree. I’m not a fan of their graphic tees lately. Literally all of the girl’s shirt has something about girl power on it. Lets try something new. The quality of their jeans has also gone downhill big time. My son really needed some jeans and I had a $10 off $40 coupon so I bought him a few pair. He is not rough with his clothing but after a week he came home with big holes in his new jeans. I remember the quality of their jeans being so much better. 🙁

    • Shoppingfan

YES!!! Please email them to express your disappointment. It does help! As a parent of a tween girl that is suffering from depression, I’m always looking for T-shirts with positive messages to reinforce OUR messages. These are real turn offs. I was able to buy some solid color ones & a couple of dance ones because she loves to dance. However how about some about art, science, STEM, music. I’d buy these in a heartbeat. Stop trying to push certain things on youngsters. It’s highly upsetting & causing more issues than they realize. As parents we can get them to realize change is needed. I know some ppl love them, which is fine too. Let them be young while they R!

    • Jennifer

the skull t-shirts are terrible whats up with all the skull and the poop emojis. Also tons of sports graphic tees my son does not play sports.

    • jonesk45

Yes, way too many shirts with weird sayings. I’ve been sticking to the solid colored plain shirts.

    • Holly

I totally agree. I don’t like dressing my toddler like a teenager and It’s frustrating for sure. I;ve been buying sale or used pieces of Mini Boden and Hanna Andersson. I appreciate that these brands usually let kids look like kids.

  8. brk

The voys striped and solid t shirts (with a pocket) are a hit at out house!!! They look so good on my boys too!

  9. Kraftykim7

I used a $10/40 coupon prior to this sale and had to choose the in-store pickup option. OF COURSE all the items I selected for pick up “couldn’t be found”. Since TCP takes the coupon off each item, I lost the coupon. Boo!
Funny enough, the items are now “found” and priced higher. Very sketchy. Be aware when shopping! 🙂

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh bummer! You should be able to score the coupon again if you text STOP and then try again. Hoping that helps!

  10. MissesK

I noticed the exact same thing with their graphic shirts! All the hashtag nonsense and selfie goals. My daughter is 4…she has no idea what that even means…and I certainly have no desire to waste money on it!

  11. Candace

I’m disappointed their jeans have gone SO downhill. Hole in the last 3 new pairs within 1-2 weeks. I switched to Cat and Jack and they are great for my rough and tumble little boy. I find the toddler graphic ts seem fine and I just ordered a few for my 1 year old but the actual boys shirts are just the worst. I go elsewhere.

  12. Janis Fullmer

I have bought TCP clothes for years for various grandkids, but their price playing games are getting old. Got a message on my phone that clearance was 75%, so I went online, but it is only in the stores. I do all my shopping online. They just are not as good a store as they used to be.
