“Only $1,199.00” lol…… I know there isn’t any other way to say it, but for some reason it gave me the giggles when I saw it this morning. It’s not you, it’s Mac. I’m sure it’s really nice though.
The prices are outrageous but once you work ona mac, you’ll never go back. I have had mine for 5 years and no issues. I was buying the cheap laptops for $300-500 every few years beforehand that. They were all pretty bad.
I second that Kathy. I love a computer that works! And in the end it’s more cost efficient, if one can control the urges to buy the latest and greatest every year. 😉 But even if one did purchase a new one every year, the “old” model could be sold at such a high resale value its not even that expensive to upgrade.
Hmmm until they stop supporting it 🙄. Love apple products and we have all of them, iPhones, iPods, Mac mini, mac laptops, iPads, well you get the picture. But hate the fact that after a year the tech support stops and after a few years they stop supporting it with new updates.
I love my MacBook Air and when my toddler spilled juice on the keyboard, it still worked but the keyboard wasn’t typing. The Genius Bar wanted about half of the cost of a new MacBook Air!! Luckily I was able to find a non-apple repair shop and was able to repair it for $250. I know, not a deal lol. But better than what Apple Care charges and got it back sooner. Moral of the story: Apple lasts forever. Just take good care of it. I now have a case and keyboard cover on it.
Does anyone know if this is the latest model?
If you want a quality computer that lasts MAC is the way go. We have 2 in our house and if you take care of them the last a long time.
