In case this info is helpful to someone: this game is well worth the money. Technically you can beat it really fast if you want to do a speed trial. However, if you actually play the game normally, it is an extremely long game. My husband and I have been playing for about a month now and we still are only about a 1/4 of the way through. Zelda games tend to give lots of side missions and other stuff so you get a ton of play time for a game priced similarly to the short games. The game can be frustrating at first because they made changes to what you normally expect from a Zelda game such as weapons breaking. But the changes are actually pretty cool and add a lot to the game.

That does sound really fun! Thanks for sharing, Elaine!

Forgot to mention: we specifically got the switch edition because it has two controllers. It’s a one player game but we each take a controller to make it into a two player game. It’s fun to have to work together to coordinate moves and fights.

Ugh. My son just bought it last week for $55 at GameStop. ☹️

If it was a preowned copy and within 7 days, they’ll do a return.

This is an AMAZING game for the Switch. The first Zelda game with true open world game play. My husband beat the game on normal mode after a few months and is now playing on Master Mode in the DLC. Our 5 and 3 year olds get involved and because of the open world concept, they can suggest things for daddy to do and places for him to go. If anyone is on the fence about this game, buy it!
