Thanks SO much! We just got two bunnies and this is way cheaper than the pet store. 🐰🐰

Oh how exciting! Congratulations on your new bunnies! You’re so welcome Jenn!

Just wanted to share my experience. I ordered just the hay awhile back. The hay looked GORGEOUS ~ green, leafy and fresh. It looked soooo much better than the Oxbow timothy hay I had been feeding my buns for 8 years. However, my rabbits WOULD NOT EAT the hay. I couldn’t figure it out for the life of me. why So I bought a box of Oxbow hay, which did not look at good, but my bunnies gobbled up the Oxbow hay.

This was maybe 4 years ago. To this day, I have no idea why my buns preferred the Oxbow hay over this brand. I buy strictly Oxbow for this reason. So to recap my experience ~ the hay looked great, but my bunnies had a preference for Oxbow. You may or may not encounter the same issue. Just FYI.

Oh wow! Sorry to hear they did not care for this hay! Thanks for the warning!

It says its $15 but when I go to check out it is back up to $55!!

It’s cheaper to just go to your local farmer and buy a bale of hay. I typically pay $5. I buy a 30lb bag of bunny food from Rural King, and it’s $11.99.

  7. Andrea

I don’t know if they changed it, since you posted, but in the cart it’s actually $54.61. It looks like only the selection area where you have the option between 10lbs of hay or 20lbs of hay says $15.10.

Mine is not working. It says $54.61. Darnit!

My 2 bunnies love this hay and food. They’re so excited when the delivery comes every month. They are completely free roam house pets, no cages at all. This is a great deal, thanks for posting it. As of this minute it’s still available.

I’d love to hear any tips you might have! Everyone keeps telling us how they’ll chew one everything and how hard it is to keep them safe from cords & such.

      • Nancy Blanco

Jenn – we use an exercise pen like you would buy for a puppy. A litter box, hay and water, hidey house and toys. It gives them a safe place to play when they can’t be supervised.

Our rabbits are free roam too. We bought plastic tubing, like the ones used in aquariums for fish, from Home Depot. You cut the length of the tubing to the length of your cord. Make a slit down the side down the entire length of the tubing, then slide cord in. You need to check the tubing occasionally to see if your rabbits have chewed on it. We’ve never had to replace any tubing. Thankfully, my rabbits don’t chew harder things like baseboards and furniture. My rabbits prefer to chew softer things like cardboard, rugs, carpet, fabric. They pull out rug fibers, so rugs get replaced from time to time. One chewed a hole in the back of our couch. We’re not replacing the couch. Rabbits love to eat rubber for some reason ~ especially the buttons on the remote, so we make sure to keep the remote off the couch. We make sure they have plenty of cardboard and junk mail to chew on. Rabbits are destructive, but it is personally worth it to me for my rabbits to be able to run around freely at all times. Others may not agree with my point of view, and that’s okay. One of our rabbits lived over 12 years and he was in great physical shape until his 12th birthday. I am convinced that his longevity was largely due to the mental and physical benefits of being a free roam rabbit.

They do love to chew and dig, but if you give your bunny a cardboard box to hang out in he/she will love to chew it too. I get little carpet squares from the dollar store and one of my bunnies digs in them. They are the sweetest creatures, both of mine have very distinct personalities and give me so much joy.

Thank you so much! I was able to order two before the price changed back. Hope my spoiled buns like it

Oh good! You’re so welcome! Happy you were able to grab the deal before it was gone!

  12. Melissa

If you have a tractor supply by you it is much cheaper.
