Wow, the Google Pixelbook costs from $999-$1649. Even with a possible $150 off, that’s quite pricey…
It also doesn’t have an optical drive. That means no CDs, DVDs, or Blu-rays. This isn’t a laptop. It is a tablet with 2 USB-C ports and an attached keyboard. You would need an adapter to plug older USB devices into the USB-C ports.
Yeah but that’s the direction things are going anyway (not that I agree bc there’s not better tech really replacing it…you need an adapter which is annoying). New macbook pro is the same way.
Yeah it only has an Intel i5 processor and a 128gb SSD. My Asus laptop has 128gb SSD, Intel i7, 1tb hard drive, optical drive, all connectivity and estimated trade value they gave me was $80. Lol. Let’s trade down and cough up a grand. Pass..
I wonder if the trade in is only for the purchase of a laptop or if I could trade in my old laptop for a gift card to buy a hard drive?
