    What is a good size pot to have for a family? Would the 3 qt be big enough for a family of 4?

      I think 6 qt would be better for regular cooking- depending on the portion size needed of course. But for larger meals as one would prepare for a party,the 8 qt would be best. We are a family of 3 and I use a 6 qt. Hope this helps
