Regal Kids Movies ONLY $1 All Summer Long
Need a cheap activity to do with the kids this summer?!
Starting in the summer, participating Regal Cinemas Theaters will be kicking off their Summer Movie Express 2018 and encouraging moviegoers of all ages to climb aboard to enjoy a selection of G or PG-rated films for only $1 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays starting at 10AM.

I think this would be awesome to use as a time to teach my little about being quiet and sitting for a movie. Least it’s cheap if we have to exit. My kiddos are 7, 6, 4, and 1.
Yes! I use to take my kiddos all the time when they were those ages and it is a super comfortable, kid friendly atmosphere during these $1 movies. Many strollers and kids in and out to the potty. More relaxed than your averaged full priced movie times. They LOVED it! And so did I!
Why don’t these companies ever consider working parents?
Because unfortunately, evenings and weekends are prime ticket sales time. Also, kids are bored and at home during the day typically, thus the reason they’re showing kids’ movies during times where children would typically be in school.
Our daycare takes all the kids! But yes, the parents miss out.

Adults are $1 also. They expect to make money at concessions 🙂
Yup! Adults too! Isn’t that awesome!? My theater even offers a Kids’ snack pack that includes a small drink, popcorn and gummies for just $5. They have allowed adults to grab those too! The start date, movie times etc. can vary by location. Be sure to call or head in to your theater for more exact details!

We have AMC here and they do a $4 deal that comes with a “snack pack” for the kids!!
Bummer! Maybe call in to your theaters to see if they might offer a similar summer promotion. Hoping they do!
Semi-patiently waiting for Cinemark to announce theirs…. my son and I have done those every summer for the last few years 🙂 We don’t have Regal or AMC close to us, sadly.
I love doing this every year! It’s interesting that there are 4 extra weeks of these this year. For us it extends 4 weeks after school starts.

Why does Rolla MO theater do this for children and parents just for the summer
