I did this when you posted no to long ago, they came to my email right away…be sure to do separate transactions though

    • Lori

Thanks for the info. Was wondering how long it took.

  2. emma

Do you have to have that sticker on the package to get the gift card?

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Nope! Just be sure to purchase the correct size and follow the instructions through the offer link above! 🙂

  3. Sofia

For anyone who has done the deal, #5 on the offer page states that: “The receipt must show the purchase of any ONE (1) Carefree® Liner product. Excludes 18, 20, 22ct. Minimum spend threshold is $2.00.” But the offer above has an oop of only $1.97 so would you still be able to qualify?

    • Duh

      Its1.97! After the coupon

      • LOl

        It is mean. I agree

      • snpy496

That’s not what she is asking.

    • mel

I bought 2 packs today on sep receipts using the $1 coupon, and received the $5 gc for each. 1 receipt had several other items purchased and one receipt was just the liners.

  4. mabfab

these work great. don’t bunch up in your panties. love ’em!

  5. Jeanette

    Awesome!! Thank you!!

  6. Mrs.W

Oh wow this is Great! Can’t wait to grab a pack when I’m in town this week! Thanks for saving me a few extra dollars!!!

  7. Anna

Where can I find the list of participating stores? Thanks.

    • frecklelily

      It’s only good at Walmart

  8. Cw

I warned Collin about this last week. I went to redeem my printed $5 gift cards and was told as of Feb 9, Walmart stores are not taking paper printed gift cards. I protested, showed a supervisor my emails, told her the deal is through 5/15 and gift cards are valid through 5/31, why would they make a policy and then do this promo? She stood over me as I used them, and they “worked” so she grudgingly took them. Just a heads up everyone!

    • Lisa

Oh, no, Cw, I feel for people who can only print theirs out. Agree with you, not a good thing for Walmart to do. I mean, if they scan, so be it. Drives me bonkers when cashiers do that with coupons…. don’t even want to scan them to see if they scan, just automatically say, oh, no, we can’t accept this. Sadly, I’m sure it is the actions of the few impacting the majority. Thanks for the heads up.

      • Cw

I agree! And when they don’t even try to scan the coupons – Grrr

    • Kay will

I would assume because many people just scan their phones.

    • dropofrain

wow. I am looking at their website and this is what it says regarding using their eGift cards:
You can redeem your Walmart eGift Card at:
      Walmart.com
      Samsclub.com*
Walmart stores and Neighborhood Markets (print it out and hand it to the cashier)—– Print it out (!)

      • Cw

Oooh i would screenshot that (“print it out”) for further proof you should be allowed to use it and yes like Lisa said I bet it’s because of the poor actions of a few.

    • Niki

There should be a way though to load it onto the Walmart Pay app?

      • Tia

You can but everyone doesn’t use smart phones.

    • Christine

I went to Walmart and used my Sams club Egift card I received when Collin posted about when you purchase the $50 of qualifying items at Sams Club and get $25 egift card, I did not have any issues, I printed the gift card off with all instructions attached and she scanned as usual with no problem, these Walmart stores are starting to make up their own individual rules but nothing is coming down from corporate to tell them to do so

  9. riss

I did this last week – just bought one pantiliner. And got the egift card right away after sending the receipt. And, I already used the gift card online 🙂

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      Sweet!

  10. *Angela-Miles*

I did this last week too! I was gonna do it again today with the $1 coupon from the newspaper but thought since it made the total below $2 they wouldn’t except it. So I didn’t use it

    • mel

I got my gc’s even after using the $1 ip.

  11. priscilla

I posted on the original deal about this asking if people actually found packages with the UPCs that are on the list of participating offers. I purchased 2 packs last week and then realized the UPC’s didn’t match so returned them. Maybe I should have tried to upload them anyway.
For example, in the store by me the Regular Unscented 54 count pack has a UPC of 078300069928, but the list has 1007830069949. Do you think it will still be accepted? I actually posted a question on the Carefree site about it but thought I’d has here as well.

    • priscilla

Well, I heard back from the customer service and they said:
I have checked the participating products of the Carefree product in the provided picture and i can confirm that the UPC code is not participating in this promotion. Please note that or system is programmed to identify only the UPC codes that are included in our participating products list.

Guess I’ll have to keep looking.

      • mel

On a quick search, the upc you bought is for Carefree Original Regular Pantiliners 54 ct. That isn’t a qualifying product.
The only 54 ct that are qualifying are
Carefree ActiFresh To Go Scented, ActiFresh To Go Unscented and Original Regular To Go w/Baking Soda.

    • nin

I also was careful to check UPCs while in the store to make sure I got the correct ones and none of them were seeming to match even though most/all of the wording did. I did purchase two exact ones in the above picture and they worked perfectly even thought the code was off at the end by 1-2 numbers c(can’t remember exactly)

I would suggest making sure to match the wording of the product and you should be fine. And yes luckily under the printed barcode there is a number and PIN to use for Walmart.com so hopefully folks’ Walmart that won’t honor a paper print gc can redeem something for store pick up

      • priscilla

Guess I should have tried to upload the receipts before I returned them. I did see some with the special stickers on them in a different store but they were all $6.97 so not free.

    • DG

I couldn’t find the matching upc’s in my Walmart.

  12. Melissa Leany

How do you know if your Walmart is a participating store? Thanks for the help!

  13. ifoundit

Energizer used to own Carefree. They split into 2 a while back. The new company that owns them, Edgewell Personal Care is the one sponsoring this, not Walmart. That may be why some product upcs won’t work. I haven’t bought any for a long time, so don’t know the upcs any more.
This is at the bottom of webpage:
©2018 Edgewell. Carefree and all other trademarks are owned by Edgewell. Carefree is not affiliated with Walmart Stores, Inc. The services, products or activities of Carefree are neither endorsed nor sponsored by Walmart Stores, Inc.

  14. Christine

is anyone getting the msg the jpg is too large, I get that the image must be less than 3MB so will not let me upload to the site, I guess I will try to attach to email if possible to see if that works:(

    • Dew

I did too, then I changed my camera setting to the lowest resolution and it worked.

  15. Judy Trac

    Got some free liners woot

  16. wklsunflower

how long does it take before you get GC in email?

  17. Adilene

I used self checkout at Walmart and it worked perfectly. $1 Coupon went through just Fine. I even used the gift card I got from the first carefree deal to pay for the second. So for any of you having issues with cashiers not taking the gift card and have the option of using self checkout use that option. When it asks for payment option choose Walmart giftcard. I just took a screenshot of the gift card showing the barcode and scanned that. Easy peasy lol

  18. Esther Moy

All the last digital of the barcode don’t match the bags. Anyone seeing this?

  19. AMY

Today, I bought two of the Carefree Original Long Liners Fresh Scent 42 count with UPC 0 78300 06980 5 (slightly different than UPC on the list). Price was $2.38 less the $1.00 coupon, total paid $1.38 plus tax. I submitted the two separate receipts tonight and received confirmation that it was approved.

  20. Melissa L.

Grr…I did this deal, but got an automatic e-mail saying the limit has been reached in this program. Grr..wasted money..

    • K

This deal is dead. They’ve reached the limit. Wasted time and money. There’s nothing in their terms and conditions about what their limit was. Probably won’t purchase Carefree products again.
