    It’s a very good deal

My cvs in Houston told me Sunday I could only buy 2 then would have to come by next day to get more. Sadly, that messed up my 4/18 shampoo cvs coupon. Their reason was too many couponers clearing shelves.

What part of Houston? I also live in Houston

In San Jose CA they told me yesturday I couldn’t use coupons on sale items.

    • Chayne

That is not a policy anywhere, and it goes against what the coupon policy states.
I hope that you call customer service and report that store and ask for a call back from the district leader.

If shelves are bare CVS is good about giving rain checks

The $2/1 from coupons.com is a beeper. Unfortunately, my store will no longer push through q’s that beep, esp IPs. Was reading on another site, that the coupon is actually coded for different L’oreal products and won’t scan for these. So just a heads up, esp if your store isn’t coupon friendly.

Does the one from the L’Oreal website beep also?

    • rose

      that one scans fine.

Has any one tried the L’Oreal hair colors on this offer?

Does anyone know when cvs stopped taking expired cvs crts? Years ago there was a 2 week period where you could redeem expired cvs coupons, then got lowered to 1 week, then lowered to 2 days and just the other day I stopped by 2 cvs stores and was told I couldn’t use expired cvs coupons even the next day? Does anyone have any info on this? Not complaining, just curious if this is across all cvs stores or if certain stores can pick and choose their policies.

This change started about 1-2 months ago. It was 2 days grace period but not anymore. Also the % store coupons were changed from taking off after ALL COUPONS vs before it would deduct full price % before any coupon. New rules that were just implemented this year.

I used a crt today that was 2-days past (exp on the 17th) and it went through. $4/15 cosmetics crt. And on Sunday I used a $3 beauty buck that was 1 day expired. The cashier didn’t say anything about a change and it didn’t show up red on the register. So IDK if it’s a store by store thing, or if it’s being phased in when the regions get register updates??

I used the CRTs epx on 4/18 yesterday 4/20 without any problem in Prescott AZ. I think the system is still taking the exp crts but the cashiers was refuse when they saw the exp date. Maybe ask them try to scan it. I have some cashiers are very nice at my area. Hope it helps.

Each store can set their own policy, up to management of that store.

    What is “RMN (formerly RP)”?

    My 4/8 RMN doesn’t have a L’Oreal coupon. Boo!
