Do you have to use their mattress for it or can you use any mattress?
We use our regular Sealy mattress. Queen. Quiet and sturdy frame!

Can you still use a box spring? Are there ridges so it doesnt slide off?
I’m pretty sure this is the same one I bought a couple of years ago for my sons…if so, there are no ridges. Sorry. Their mattresses don’t slide around too much, but I could see a box spring getting scooted around since it won’t “settle” like a more pliable mattress would.

We have this similar type frame for our california king. We love it. There is a lot of extra space and we got rid of our boxspring. If you have a memory foam mattress, you will probably need to put a piece of wood or something to sturdy it. We actually had to get it because our oldest dog loves sleeping under the bed during the day, and this way, he has plenty of room and I know the frame is sturdy 🙂
My 2 dogs also have their beds under 1 end of mine! And I’ve got 4 of the full size large storage tubs under the other. Great space saving frames.
I have one of these raised frames for my bed…not this brand. It’s great, no slouching box springs or sinking in over time. My cats have a small bed under it that they share since they love going under the bed. It also has some storage containers under it. And I think the bed has even helped my posture straighten Lol.
