Make way for the tank tops and shorts, because summer is almost here! This means the pastels and fair weather spring styles need to be moved out. Luckily, most of these pretty styles still work for the summer months, so purchase now for a deep discount.
Hip Tip: Give the Walmart clearance section a good look. Not only will you find scores on spring apparel, they have the CUTEST jewelry selection courtesy of their new brand Time & Tru. They’re actually a good deal even at full price, but when on clearance, they’re an absolute steal!
Mattresses and furniture
FINALLY! I never thought the day would come when I could say these are items you CAN buy this month. Check for Memorial Day weekend sales for mattresses and large furniture. It’s the best time of the year to buy!
It always makes sense to shop whatever produce is in season, for the best selection and also the savings! Look for asparagus, cabbage, bitter greens like collards, kale, mustard, and turnip, leafy greens and lettuce (but beware of recalled chopped romaine), radishes, rhubarb, spinach, and strawberries. That sounds like the making of a powerhouse superfood salad!

Calling all thrifters – this is your time to shine! May is an incredible time to head to your local shop to scout the new contributions that come in after spring cleaning! While there might not necessarily be sales, the selection is sure to be abundant.
