For the dove promises deal, you may want to scan the bags with ibotta to be sure they’re part of the offer. I bought a dark chocolate/mint swirl bag. It met all criteria yet when I got home and tried to redeem it said offer doesn’t match.
Thanks for that heads up. The same thing has happened to me more than once. You might try exchanging your candy for the one that qualifies, if it’s worth the trouble.
I just checked my Ibotta ap and it says the deal is for any variety and any size of Dove Promises. You could contact Ibotta and see if they’ll correct the problem. I’ve encountered a hiccup of two since I’ve been using it and they responded appropriately.
I ended up exchanging for the dark chocolate and got my 3.00 from ibotta. But I noticed that it said “any” as well so was surprised. Thanks for the suggestions, will remember for next time☺
I had it happen with the Suave deal a few weeks ago. Luckily, I scanned it at the store and saw it didn’t match even though it said Any. It was my first experience with it & I was surprised.
From my understanding is the that the manuf gives Ibotta the UPC info, and sometimes items get missed. Some offers, if you continually scan the UPC, you’ll get a new pop up that you can enter the UPC code, then take a picture of the item and usually within 24 hrs, the upc is added. You’ll get a ping notification, then you can submit for the rebate. On the flip side, some manuf’s don’t allow that. Last wk, my mom bought a bottle of Aveeno body wash, and I normally ck the upc before heading to check out. I got sidetracked and she checked out before me. So when I uploaded the receipt and scanned the offer, it came up as not a match. After several tries, I didn’t get the pop up, so I had to send in a help request ticket with the offer info. CS replied back for additional information (needed a photo of the front & back of the item as well as the upc) and the next day I was credited for the offer.
For physician’s formula buy 2 get $10 ecbs, next week’s ad states the 2oz. makeup remover is excluded from the deal. It is found on the last page of the ad.

I think the math is off on the CoverGirl deal. $9.98 – (2) $2.00/1 coupons should be $5.58 instead of $4.58. So 58¢ after EB right 🙂
