The BEST on the market!!!

I used to work for a Melanoma Research Study and this was the sunscreen we’d recommend to our patients.

Excellent sunscreen and excellent price. It’s not usual to find a discount on this, so I’d recommend grabbing the deal while you can!

Thank you! I’ve been looking to buy discounted blue lizard sunscreen after reading the post about sunscreen products here. Swimming time is around the corner. I bought 2, the baby and the regular ones. Yay! Thanks a lot!

Our dermatologist sells this in her office. It works very well!

We love this brand! Thank you so much! Just ordered more! It definitely rubs in better than most mineral sunscreens.

I love this sunscreen for my girls!! We have been using it for several years. The baby and sensitive skin formula get excellent ratings on the EWG website. We just buy whichever one is on sale.

Off topic, but has anyone else received a check from the Forcellati v Hylands Class Action Settlement? I received one today and was surprised at the amount. I had only purchased the hylands product once and received more than twice what I paid for it. I feel almost guilty cashing the check. I think I may hold on to it and decide in a few weeks if I want to accept and cash the check

Maybe you could cash it, keep what you paid, and donate the rest to a worthy cause.

    • Mel

I didn’t do the settlement (never used the product), but my husband got a notification several years ago for some protein powder he used, so he filled it out. I think the total was only going to be around $20-$25 back, but he wound up getting over $60! What happens is if there’s less people that sign up, that any remaining funds can then be redistributed to everyone who signed up (or goes into the lawyers pockets!)
So you can either keep the entire amount, or I like ctw’s idea of donating the extra $$.

    • Melanie

That is a great idea! I may just end up donating all of it. Thanks for your input guys ❤️

How hard is it to rub in? My kids like to spray and go but I’m trying to find a safer sunscreen.

    • Kelly

Not hard to rub in at all. It isn’t thick and rubs in incredibly easy. I’ve also found that it doesn’t sting around the eyes. My Target has this on clearance and there is a $2.00 coupon inside the box for use for your next purchase.

    • Alwyatt03

Rubs in easily and doesn’t sting the eyes. Our dermatologist recommended this one for my son’s sensitive skin.

I wish it came in higher SPF than 30

    • KCAT

Mineral versus chemical. Mineral sunscreen is much cleaner and safer. And the incremental pickup is neglible.
      SPF 2 blocks 50%
      SPF 15 blocks 93%
      SPF 30 blocks 97%
      SPF 50 blocks 98%
      SPF 70 blocks 98.6%
      SPF 90 blocks 98.9%

To be fair, negligible if applied correctly…most people apply only 1/3-1/2 of what they are supposed to, so they’re getting far less protection than they think. I like to hedge my bets with a 50 since I’m sure I’m one of those people, but from the economics aspect, you’re wasting money buying anything higher. And SPF is only measuring against UVB, so making sure that you buy “broad spectrum” and applying often is probably more important than the SPF. And mineral vs chemical being “safer” is highly debatable (toxicity is a function of quantity and route of administration)

    • Casey

A higher SPF does not mean more protection. Just keep reapplying it every few hours and you should be good. 🌞

It works hands down. Even on super sensitive skin. 30 spf on mineral sunscreen is great protection even for my fairest family members. No skin reaction either.

Wish it didn’t have a reptile on it 😬

I know there’s a baby one, but is this kid kind ok for 6month old?

    • Mary

For babies (or anyone), lands end and coolibar have great sun protection clothing and hats. We had a coolibar ankle to wrist for when my girls were little.

  6. Rachel

How do I get the coupon to print? I select print and nothing. Thanks.

It’s going to be end of mine day, however before end I am reading this wonderful post to improve my experience.|
