I noticed the reviewers of the pendant/earring set are mostly in the 50-60 year old range. Does this set look better suited for an older person? Not that there is anything wrong with that at all, but I just want to get something age appropriate. Also, is this truly a good deal or does it get even less expensive on Black Friday/Cyber Monday? Asking in case anyone here already purchased it on sale before and can chime in.

I think pearls and diamonds are always classy and good for all ages.

Yes 🙂 I already got the earrings set (the one with pearls) and it is very pretty. If I nit pick, I don’t love the shape of the pearls. They look a little smooshed as opposed to spherical, but I can live with that for $10/set! Now trying to decide if I need to also get the set with the pendant, which is more expensive.

I recently snagged up the other diamond jewelry from JC Penney that was posted on Hip2Save— the double halo necklace and earrings plus the twist necklace. They already came in and they are all gorgeous. In no way looks like something I only spent $20 on! I’m keeping the double halo set for myself, and I’m giving the twist necklace to my mother in law (my mom doesn’t wear jewelry anymore so back to the drawing board for her). The twist necklace is gorgeous too but more her style than mine, although I did consider snatching up a 2nd one for me to keep too! lol! If you’re looking at the price and feeling worried like it might be too good to be true, I’d say go ahead and give it a shot because I was way more than pleased! I had someone of a negative view of JC Penney jewelry (well all “cheap” jewelry in general I guess), but I have been pleasantly proven wrong!

You could always try live plants. Home Depot had potted dwarf blueberry bushes, lemon and lime trees for $25.00. If my mom was alive I would have gotten her the blueberry bush

I picked up my order of the $10earrings. They looked beautiful right out the box, gorgeous in the light! Unfortunately the backing of one of the crystal earring was so loose, I actually lost it in the first five min while wearing it . Luckily my daughter found it. It’s going back for an exchange.
