This circular saw is cordless and battery powered but has all the power of a corded saw. It is compatible with DeWalt’s FlexVolt batteries (sold separately) which let you use the same battery for multiple tools, and will automatically change the voltage for whatever tool you’re working with.
This cordedless saw offers a 7 ¼” full size blade with an electronic brake that stops the blade after the trigger is released. The FlexVolt battery can make up to 339 cuts per charge.
I’m not sure where you got your info on this, but this is a CORDLESS ONLY model. All circular saws are one or the other, not both. Whom ever edited this, may have got it confused with their 12″ compound miter saw, which runs off 2 FlexVolt batteries or an adapter to use it straight from the wall.
