Anyone have success using something like this for Flour/Pantry Moths? I need something safe around birds and those sticky traps are just “okay”.

      Hi Andrea,
I can’t speak to the effectiveness of the advertised zapper, but I recently had a horrible moth problem due to bad bird seed. It would seem to go away and then come back and had even started to get in my cabinets. I realized the moths were laying eggs in my curtains. I have a steam washer (my curtains were cotton so I was afraid they would shrink if washed) so I steamed and dried them in the dryer two or three times to make sure I had gotten all of the larvae and looked over each one (I had 8 curtains and they are cotton so I was afraid they would shrink if washed ! ) I am pleased to report that with sticky traps and washing my curtains its been months since I have seen even one moth! They tend to lay eggs on vertical surfaces. I hope that helps 🙂

I seriously thought this was a joke…like the products you post around April Fools Day…lol I couldn’t fathom having so many flying insects inside my house that I would need a bug zapper but someone above mentioned moths and I guess that makes more sense. But still…thanks for the chuckle.

Me, too, Nicole! I thought the same thing! Indoor bug zapper?!?! I think that sound and smell of burning bug in my house would drive me crazy.

hmm… maybe for camping and you have electricity and cord going into your tent? or maybe staying at cabin or staying on scout lodgings that may not have central air but use open windows to make it less stuffy. I believe they also make outdoor kinds of these

This would be awesome inside our pop up camper! Some of them go inside with kids go in and out so this is perfect! Many thanks!
