Flights from the Atlanta area
They have inexpensive tickets but ridiculous charges for carry on bags and you have to pay extra for your seat selection (required). The flight was terrible (very rude staff) We will not fly with them again.

We fly Frontier a lot and seat selection is not required. You can pay the additional fee and select your seat or just take what they give you. We never pay extra for this and have always been seated together.
I have also had the opposite experience with the staff they have always gone out of their way to help me. When flying alone with a young child every staff member we encountered found a way to help make our trip better or easier for me.
People tend to love or hate Frontier. For us super cheap ($50-$75 round trip) tickets are more than worth it.
Do you have to pay for carry on bags?
No, no fee for carry on.
My extended family and I have traveled frontier many many times and never had a bad experience!
You do have to pay for “carry-on bags” … But you do not have to pay for “personal item bags” (Frontier says: think purses, laptop bags, or child backpack with max dimensions of 18″ wide x 14″ height x 8″ depth).
Many, many thanks!!!! I just booked a trip for me and my son to fly from Texas to New Mexico for just … drumroll, please … $80 TOTAL for both of us roundtrip! And that includes a pre-selected seat each way ($6 per person each way)! Woo hoo, I’m so excited! So he’s basically flying for $40 roundtrip … and I’m flying for $40 roundtrip!
