We purchased a Ring Video Doorbell Pro since our neighborhood has had a few missing packages and break-ins over and I have to say it is really cool!
We actually installed it and ended up catching my daughter having friends over without asking us after we had just left the house when she was supposed to be doing chores (so she could go out later). I called her right after I saw her friends came over while we were out and asked her what she was doing and she said “Oh I’m doing chores” and I was able to immediately call her on it. Pretty funny as she said her friends came over to help with chores. Oh my – gonna be a long summer! 😉

It’s $3 a month or $30 a year subscription. It’s worth every penny!
Worth every penny and totally life changing. I work from home and my neighbor would just come to my door at random times for whatever reason. We also could never sleep-in on weekends because she would come ring the doorbell. After I talked to her through the doorbell a couple of times, she got the hint that we weren’t coming to open the door so she could make conversation. It also deters a certain religious group who comes to my door despite being politely told that we have our own beliefs.
You only pay a monthly subscription if you wish to keep your videos and feeds available in their cloud for a certain period of time.

Just fyi the 99.00 Ring doorbell is 720p quality and is ‘meh’ at best ( I have it). You’ll wish you splurged on the higher models aka Doorbell 2
