The only thing I have to say it please try to stay away from these brands. I work in a veterinary clinic for almost 8 years and we see so many pets that use these brands who end up hospitalized because of its toxicity (especially cat flea collars or topicals).

I agree, too many of these over the counter brands can cause seizures and even death, don’t chance it, visit your Vet!

There are going to be risks of side effects for any medication. I generally use Only Natural Pet Herbal Defense Oil on my pets and then save the expensive vet-prescribed topicals for when a problem pops up. (Like yesterday, when my dog came home from boarding with a few fleas.) I use Revolution on my pup & both cats in that case. Since the meds are insecticide, this is my compromise position. (My pets are all indoor-only and I live in the city.) If you live in an area with a tick problem, you may want to consider something that addresses those too.

Go to your vet. I agree with the first comment . These dogs are just like family. Do your research if nothing else.

It contains the same active ingredients as frontline plus. We used to give that one to our dog and it worked great. We switched to this brand last year and it does work as good as frontline plus. We haven’t had any issues with it.
