I know at least for Southern California many schools have transitioned to finish before the Memorial Day holiday and go back early August.
That’s how it is for my district too! We dismissed late May.

These are the same prices you will see as others advertise bts sales. Some stores will offer .10 or .25 as we get closer to August.
Bingo! The 25¢ stuff can drop to 10 or 15¢, and the 50¢ stuff can drop to 25¢, dollar stuff right now can drop to 50¢ as we get closer to August.

I think Walmart has crayons for $.25 when it gets closer to August. For back to school deals. I think the markers are the same price $.97
Office depo and office max have penny deals! Well the past two years they have! Hopefully they have it this year, that’s my stock up price
This would be a great deal if Office Depot did not just have the same products for cheaper earlier this month and allowed shipping rather then in store only.
I love this post (because school supplies–love them) and hate this post (because it feels too soon). I guess I need to figure out what we need for this year for my elementary student.
The high school doesn’t put out school supply lists–it was a rude awakening the first year I had a high schooler. Seemed like every day for 2 weeks he came home needing something else, and the sales were all done by then.
Try using the previous year’s supply list. There shouldn’t be many major changes in the supplies.
At Glendale AZ in Arrowhead area OfficeMax, the 1 subject notebooks were priced at .25 cents each. Don’t think this was advertised.

We live in Phoenix and finished the end of May and go back the first week in August
We track out for the year next Friday and my son tracks back in the last Friday in July. We have year round schools here, so some kids get out next Friday and go back the week after July 4th. This may be part of why sales are already starting. 😊
As a school supply junkie, I will probably grab an item or two. My high schooler never really knows what he needs until school starts. I’m patiently awaiting the Sharpie, MEAD notebook,& TUL (office depot) sale.

Staples was thirsty this year. Back to school….we are STILL in school.
I don’t care how cheap there items are. I would rather go pay a dollar extra just so none of my money is spent here. I live in Athens alabama an I went to staples years ago for an interview. I left in tears because both of the managers there basically bullied an belittled me until I felt like an idiot an peice of garbage. That to me says a lot about how they treat there employees an other customers. I still to this day can not get over how I was talked to an laughed at right in my face. I held back the tears until I got in my car. I was in total shock.

This is so offensive! We just got out of school last week, and I was hoping to relax before thinking about my classroom in September.
