If you’re using this with genuine cartridges and can afford to buy them continuously , then great you probably won’t have issues…. but if you plan on refilling these cartridges or using with remanufactured cartridges, then this printer is a nightmare to do that with. Bought it on an identical sale last November and it lasted approximately 6 months before I gave up on it…not only that but both genuine and remanufactured cartridges cost more than usual…..couldn’t even find remanufactured blacks for less than 11$. Just got a brother a few weeks ago on a sale I saw here via best buy on eBay and remanufactured cartridges are as low as 1.30 each for it. Moral of the store, check out your ink prices and options before purchasing any printer.
This printer has the insta ink option which allows you to select how many pages a month you will print for a set price (300 pages is $9.99 a month) there are smaller packages available. HP then sends you the ink for the printer. You will never run out. Best option around for ink!
