A spray bottle of water and smoothing with your hand works well, too. I was just introduced to this method. No need for fancy extra tools and sprays. Worth a try. I love it, because I hate ironing and it works fine for me.
I have one that’s very similar to this and at first I was frustrated and was going to send it back but then I learned how to use it and use it on all my dress shirts that I don’t want to dry. It actually works pretty well. Just be patient and go slow strokes
