Starting today, June 26th, AMC is launching a new and best tier in AMC Stub’s loyalty subscription program called the Stubs A-List.

See a movie up to 3 times every week – no blackout dates!

What’s the cost? Is there a catch?

You’ll pay $19.95 (+tax) per month to watch up to three movies per week, as well as receive these Premier benefits. Once you sign up, the $19.95 price is guaranteed for 12 months.

Note that new AMC Stubs A-Listers will have a 3-month minimum commitment. After that, your membership will last until you opt out of recurring billing. As long as you’re an A-List member, your credit or debit card will be charged the recurring monthly fee on the same date each month.

Watch three movies every week for an entire month, and you’ll pay ONLY $1.66 per movie = HUGE Savings!

How do I reserve my tickets with AMC Stubs?

As an AMC Stubs A-List member, you can make advance reservations for FREE with your virtual card, either online or via the AMC app (you won’t receive a physical card, but mobile access is easy). Note that if you upgraded to A-List from Premiere and had a physical card, you can continue to use that card as an A-List member.

According to the program, a week runs from Friday to Thursday, and your A-List weekly benefits reset every Friday morning. This means you get to enjoy the newest movies each week! Members may not have more than three reservations at any time, regardless of whether the showtimes fall within the same week. You will not be able to make a reservation if the start time of a movie you want begins before the previous movie ends.

I can’t find anything in the faq section about kids. I have three children. Would the price be the same for each additional child? Thanks in advance if anyone knows!

The a-list program allows for single ticket purchase only. So any kids or additional adults would have to be purchased separately.

If you are thinking of buying a membership for each kid, it would be the same price as a regular membership.

      Thank you!

The terms say that you have to be 18 years or older to do it. Bummer – wanted to sign my kiddo up too.

I’m wondering about the same. What about kids? I am willing to pay membership for kids but they don’t have ID or driver’s license. What do I do?

Many states offer state ID to minors and non drivers. In Illinois it is $10 for under 18. Google the requirements for your state. Typically done at the DMV with birth certificate and social security card. Call before you go for other requirements.

I called AMC to ask if children can join. The answer was no, you need to be 18 yrs old to join.

This doesn’t make sense for families. Also, my husband and I want to do this and certainly don’t mind paying the fees, but don’t want to keep track of 2, separate accounts and emails because I purchase our tickets through the app with my premiere membership with our seats together. I don’t understand why one account couldn’t have more than one person named and charged for convenience. Most couples aren’t going to want to get on the app at the same time to choose their seats individually. The price is right, but the execution is stupid
