Last time these were on sale, I bought two of them. They look nice, but they are definitely not sturdy enough to sit on. Within just a few days they were splitting on the seams. And that was just with my young kids sitting on them. I returned mine and got my money back. If you were to just use them for decorative storage and not as a foot rest or bench, then it would be okay I think.
I live in a small apartment so these have saved my life. I keep 1 on each side of my futon and we keep the kids toys in one and the kids shoes and some toys in the other. I have one in my room I keep sheets, etc since I don’t have a linen closet. I plan to buy 2 more now. When I need space (family coming to visit, etc) I fold them up and slide them under the bed or futon (empty). I keep them pretty full which may be why mine have held up but the bottom is basically made of the same material as those organizer boxes u put in cubbies however the top is made very nice. We sit on one of them that is closest to my front door to put shoes on and off, and to take the baby in and out of the car seat. I like them

We bought one of these the last time is was posted here. It looks really nice and has held up well with small children playing on them. I love that they fold up small to be put away when not needed or need more room.
