Amazon FreeTime Unlimited 3-Month Family Plan Subscription ONLY $2.99 (Regularly $30)
Have kiddos between 3 and 12 years old? You want this!
Through August 1st, hop on over to Amazon where new customers can score a 3-Month Amazon FreeTime Unlimited Family Plan Subscription for just $2.99 (regularly $29.99).
As another option, through August 1st, Amazon Prime members who are new customers can score a 1-Year Amazon FreeTime Unlimited Family Plan Subscription for just $49 (regularly $83). That means you are paying just $4.08 per month.
If you’re not familiar with Amazon FreeTime Unlimited, it’s an app and all-in-one subscription that provides over 16,000 kid-friendly apps, games, books and shows all with the best parental controls.
Parents can choose what content their kids see, and set educational goals and time limits and kids can enjoy unlimited access to channels and characters including Disney, Sesame Street, Nickelodeon, PBS, and more.
While on FreeTime, kids won’t have access to any social media channels and they cannot make in app purchases – so there aren’t any surprise charges on your Amazon account. Even better, you can set up to four profiles for your kids so they can personalize their favorite apps, games, shows and more.
FreeTime Unlimited is available on Kindles, Fire Tablets, Android phones and tablets, Fire TV, iOS and Amazon Kid Edition tablets.

We have Freetime Unlimited & I do think it’s worth it…but if you don’t like the cost, you can use freetime with your own apps (books and videos too) & still set time limits. There are tons of free apps, especially with the Underground section. And watch for free apps of the day.
My kids use the kindles with Freetime Unlimited on our car trips all the time. You just have to download whatever apps or books you want before leaving. After downloading, most of the apps don’t require WiFi to play them. I think you can download videos as well, but we haven’t tried that.
Anyone know if I buy this now, I can activate it later? Or does the subscription start the moment you buy it? My kids have the free 1 year but it doesn’t expire until December. I would like to buy this and then save it until then.
I emailed Amazon asking the same question, but I’m still waiting on a reply.
I was wondering the same thing! Thanks for emailing them.
Since this is for new customers, I doubt that will work. If you have a current free subscription I don’t think you’ll be considered a new customer unfortunately.
There is also a deal to get the year family subscription for $49 (reg. $83). Both deals run through Aug 1.
Oh cool! Thanks for the heads up!
Your post doesn’t mention it, but it’s also available for iOS (Apple products). I just checked the App Store and it’s there for iPhone and iPad too! 🎉
Awesome! Thanks for the heads up! Adding that to the post!
If you have the 1 month free trial and get this deal, does it start after your free trial is over?
