FYI, my store has the price listed as $104 on Brickseek, but tagged as $174. I tried to buy it and show them the $104 price, but they refused to sell it to me for that price, and insisted on the $174. I left angry and empty-handed!

And being 9.5 months pregnant did not help!
brickseek is not affiliated with Target so they don’t have to match any price. Sounds like brickseek had an error so the store had nothing to do with it.
Sorry that didn’t work out for you. I was disappointed about something I saw on here previously, but the price in the store was different than what brickseek advertised. It seems that site is not always accurate. Brickseek site tells you not to try and negotiate based on their price. “BrickSeek is a 3rd party application. Retail stores will not honor inventory or price discrepancies between their store and BrickSeek.”
You have to take Brickseek prices with a grain of salt. I don’t know where they’re pulling their prices from, but they are all over the place. That said, you really can’t expect a price adjustment based on a third party. If that was the case, we could all set our own prices.
